This is My second one. First Flip Z3 lasted 2yrs until screen "burnt/sparked" giving it a bar light on the right side of the screen and the top half of the screen no longer works. I figured it lasted 2yrs and I like the fold-up to put in My pocket, so I bought the Z6. Darn thing broke in 2months from purchase (same thing as My first).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A cool phone I can fit in my pocket

Save your money for a company with integrity

I bought this device less than 5 months ago and the screen is already black and dead, i would have the device folded and the screen would freeze and rainbow. It's almost comical how they revoke your warranty if there is ANY damage present. I bought a samsung branded case for the device which is even more ridiculous. It had no covering for the hinge which obviously got scratched here and there, but the rest of my device is literally spotless. Even the inner screen, that i have a problem with, is completely damage free. So how am i at fault for samsungs own faulty design? I had a flip 3 before this and had it for several years before i had issues, they seem to be making products that break very easily and then when time comes for you to get them replaced thinking you are covered, you have NO coverage. I'm still paying off the phone itself and they want me to pay another 350 ontop of the money i already spent for the phone. Its incredibly infuriating because the damage on the phone is literally scartches, no dents. Need I remind you this is a 1000 dollar phone! It should hold up better than this. Im truly at a loss with this because i love these phones but the company policy is bordering on theft.

When Opening Main Screen Doesn't Always Come On

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had the phone a few months now. The front screen, when folded, 8s always functional. The main screen doesn't always come on and I have to constantly open and close the phone to try and get the screen to come on. I made the mistake of using Samsung Care+ instead of my carrier which makes it almost impossible to get anything fixed.

To reboot your device, the method may vary depending on your model: - **Devices with a Power button:** Press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons simultaneously for approximately 10 seconds. - **Devices with a Side button:** Press and hold the Volume Down and Side buttons simultaneously for about 10 seconds. The Power menu may appear; however, continue pressing the buttons until the Samsung logo appears. Then, select "Normal Boot." Your device should start up normally. If the Maintenance mode screen appears, use the Volume buttons to navigate through the options, and press the Power button or Side button to select "Normal Boot." As a Z Series device owner, you benefit from Galaxy Z Assurance, which includes free screen protector replacement and discounts on screen repairs if needed. Bought 3 months ago went outside shoveled some snow phone got cold opened it and the screen slowly faded to black. GARBAGE BUYER BEWARE NOT A GOOD PHONE FOR ANY KIND OF COLD WEATHER.

Z flip 6 poor quality inside

Lasted 6 months,July 24 2024 to Feb 01 2025, touch screen stopped responding. Looks like brand new, not a single scratch or water damage, but now have to use small screen to receive calls and check messages, cannot unlock main screen as touch does not work.

Bought 2 for wife and daughter. Daughters inner display blacked out after 3 months and wifes after 6 months. Warranty didnt cover either bc there were slight scratches on the outer hinge where their phone cases did not cover. Both lost all their photos bc a data transfer was not possible.
