The Z-Flip 6 appears bulkier than the Z-Flip 5 and there are no vast improvements. I would have liked smoother edges and less protruding camera lenses. I hope the Z-Flip 6 screen lasts longer than my Z-Flip 5 (18-months - not cracked but peeling at fold). If not, I may have to look for other options.
Overall, the Z-Flip 6 fits in my front pocket, but the edges could be much less intrusize. It has a fast processor, so online activities are generally very good. Still way too expensive if it does not last two to three years.

I Flipped Over the Flip 6 Literally and Emotionall

I got the Samsung Flip 6 because—let’s be honest—it looks cool. But I stayed for the Galaxy AI. Between running Pleasant Valley Pharmacy and juggling therapy appointments for my autistic kids, my brain is basically 47 open tabs with music playing from who-knows-where.
Galaxy AI is a lifesaver. It helps me draft quick, catchy pharmacy posts (even when I’m running on caffeine and chaos), summarizes messages, and even organizes my weekly to-dos. The camera and Flex Mode? Perfect for snapping cute, on-brand pics for our social media—no tripod needed!
On the personal side, I use AI reminders and calendar syncing to keep track of therapy appointments, med pickups, and sensory needs. No more “Oh no, was that today?!” panic.
And yes, the phone’s a conversation starter. Customers spot it and suddenly we’re chatting tech and local business.

Surprisingly Useful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The battery is a bit smaller than the other flagship phones, but it doesn't impact my use of the phone since I don't use it for anything super power-hungry. The main screen is a bit oblong but not enough to affect use. The fold in the screen is obviously noticeable on a black screen, but it's hard to notice when the screen's on. Camera quality is what I would expect. Now onto the main feature: the fold. The folding gimmick is surprisingly intuitive and helpful. Folding it up makes it easier to carry in pockets or in your hand in general, and the outer screen has enough features that you can do quick things like replying to a text or snapping a photo without unfolding the phone. I find myself using the fold to hold itself up a lot, like its own phone stand. It helps a lot when following tutorials and avoids the glare you get when your phone is flat on a table. I've had the phone for a month or two and I haven't seen any issues with the fold so far. I've tossed my phone, accidentally tried to bend it the wrong way, carried it in dirty pockets, and it's surprisingly not as fragile as I anticipated. No sounds, no crunching, no problems. It also fits a lot better on my wireless charger when it's folded up :)
