I Love the new flip 5

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new flip 5 is a really nice phone. I love the new screen on the lid. I can reply to text messages without having to open up the phone. I can listen to audio books and control the book from the new front screen. The seam once the phone is opened is not very visible and the phone opens up flat! I am really happy with this purchase!

This phone fits my lifestyle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my flip5 as a mini computer. I watch YouTube TV, netflix, youtube, and pay my bills on this device. I'm a GenX who had a flip phone that of course didn't have the capability of what the new phones can do.
The primary reason I love this phone is the size. I like traveling light by having the bare necessities and this phone is one of them.
I had the flip 3 & 4. The is by far my best phone. I use to be in cellphone ecosystem. Switching was the best move because of the variety of phones offered (flip, fold,ect.).
I am looking forward to continued the phone getting better and better. Finally, Samsung, thanks for the irresistible trade-in program.

Now to the Z Flip 5 itself:
- What a joy to be able to use the front screen for multiple tasks without having to open the phone itself.
- learning to use the both in split screen and when the screen is folded allowing the use of the touch pad and key board is magnificent. What a pleasure to use the pointer and be able to scroll thur docs. Truely easy reading.
- Last but not least, phone itself:
- love answering a call without having to open the phone. Really simple to use.
- sturdy build and lack of a gap between halves really keeps the dust out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Top notch device with top notch specs. The flip 5 is a great device that I use everyday. With the current gen 5200 battery the phone will last for hours on its battery, not requiring a charge for a while. Not only does it have a good battery but the phone is super durable my device has been through drops of up to 20 ft and has barely received a scratch. I use my Flip 5 for everything it being the best phone I have ever had.

Transformation to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the past few years, I owned my first Android devices in the form of a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3, the Flip4 and now the Flip5 while still holding on to my Max Pro as the 'daily driver'.
With the introduction of the Flip5, its larger cover-screen, a superfast Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and a lot better/smarter battery life, I have completely transformed my smartphone companion in work and private to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5.
It took some time and a little learning curve to install all the apps I needed but 2 weeks into it, the Flip5 has now become my 'daily driver' and transformed the way I use the device in terms of carrying it (folds in half), spending less screen-time utilizing key widgets and apps on the functional cover-screen, have it fully customized to my personal preferences, daily routines and notifications and observed an overall improved productivity.
In a positive way, the Flip5 is way overqualified for my use and need of the camera and video capabilities. The photos, selfies, and videos are just amazing and way easier to take holding the phone with or without the flip option and camera positions.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 device. It is a fully matured and powerful smartphone for business and private use and I genuinely enjoy Samsung's One UI 5.1.1 at the moment which is the best Android user interface I have experienced so far.

Note like performance from a Flip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My last phone was a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G and the Z Flip 5 is a very comparable phone by the specs. Honestly, in phone mode, it performs like a Note Series in most aspects. Lightning fast, very responsive, tons of features. When done kicking butt, you flip it closed and slide it in your pocket.
Definitely install Good Lock. I haven't had any issues running tons of apps using it. MLB App, Signal, Hulu...

Camera Mode
Going from A 108MP on the Note 20, the 12MP was something I knew I'd have to get used to. While it definitely doesn’t need to have 108MP, 20+ would be nice.

Battery
I use my phone... Email, streaming music to my Galaxy Buds, scrolling feeds, etc. I take it off my Samsung wireless charger around 6AM, by 3PM I'm around 35%. Not horrible, but not great. Luckily I have a cradle at my desk and can toss it on when at my desk.

All the required hardware, No DEX
Seriously, this bothers me to my core. Why? How freaking cool would it be to have full DEX capability in a flip? It meets all of the requirements, but no access.
