With its larger cover screen, powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, and refined hinge design, it delivers a smooth user experience and excellent performance. The Flex Mode is a great feature, making hands-free use convenient, and the cameras perform well, especially in good lighting.
However, there are a couple of drawbacks. The built-in screen protector tends to show wear quickly, and replacing it can be a hassle. Additionally, finding a case that fully protects the hinge without adding too much bulk is more difficult than expected. While there are some options, most cases either leave the hinge exposed or compromise on overall protection.
Overall, if you’re looking for a compact and innovative foldable phone with solid performance, the Z Flip 5 is a great choice—just be prepared to be selective about accessories to ensure long-term durability.

Greatest phone I ever had

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 for a while now, and overall, it's been a great experience. The biggest improvement over previous models is the larger cover screen, which makes it much more functional for quick tasks, notifications, and even some apps without having to flip open the phone. The hinge feels more refined, making it easier to open and close while feeling durable.
Performance-wise, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 ensures smooth multitasking, and the battery life is decent for a foldable—though it still isn't on par with traditional flagship phones. The cameras are solid but not groundbreaking, with good daytime shots and slightly weaker low-light performance compared to Samsung’s S-series.
The foldable design is still the main selling point, and I love the compact form factor when it's closed. It’s great for portability and stands out in a world of slab phones. However, the crease is still noticeable, though less distracting over time. Also, foldable screens are more fragile, so I’m extra careful with it.
Overall, the Z Flip 5 is a fun and stylish phone with solid performance, but it’s best for those who appreciate the unique flip design rather than someone looking for top-tier specs.

Love it would get another one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my samsung z flip 5, it's easy to use. You can take pictures, view apps and customize your phone both open or flip close. I love that when I need to look up something I can just pull my phone out and browse the internet without opening the phone. The phone has both face ID and finger print recognition. If you ever have trouble finding your contacts because so many, we'll you can add your favorite contacts to the front of the phone for easy calls with one push of a button.
