Absolutely love the form factor!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are so many unique ways to interact with the phone both from a hardware as well as a software perspective. These new interactions are not just gimmicks they are very useful in the real world!
Battery life is good, display is great, haptics solid, sounds great, and the cover display is SUPER useful.
The only thing really lagging with this phone is the camera. Come on Samsung - we all know you can do better. 🙂
Being able to easily carry this phone in my pocket all day is such a unique experience compared to lugging around a big phone in your pants pocket. Absolutely love it. If the camera could ever be on par with a flagship device like the Ultra - I would definitely say I would never not have a flip phone again!!

The front screen is everything I wanted.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far this phone has felt amazing. Perfect size on all parts and that front screen is insanely helpful. Don't forget to install good lock and get full use out of it. At work I almost never open it just swipe over answer and I'm on my way. I don't have a watch so it's perfect for me. I love the main screen for video watching and gaming. It feels amazing to use this phone for everything so far. My on grievance is more with apps not allowing me to use the back camera for selfies like the normal cam does. Can get around by opening app in the closed screen. But that's an issue with the app makers.

Excellent Craftmanship from Samsung

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned 3 iterations of Galaxy Folds and 2 Galaxy Flip Phones and this is by far the biggest upgrade in any foldable phone Samsung has ever made. From the improvement of the camera to the hinge, and to the outer screen and the seamless software integration, this phone gives you a surreal user experience that is incomparable to anything out there. It is such fun to hold and play with the Galaxy Flip 5, and to say I am highly satisfied with this phone is an understatement. I will not hesitate to recommend it to anybody who wants a phone that actually excites

Room for improvement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In folded mode, phone features are limited. Phone normally used in unfolded mode. Miss having use of the stylus pen from galaxy note plus. Frequently have to turn phone around when opening to have it be in the upright position. Phone weight is light which is an upgrade from previous phone.

Almost Perfect Flip 5

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this flip phone! I waited until now to buy one because I knew eventually it would evolve to having a full cover display. I'm a power user coming from the s22 ultra, I needed this phone to last a complete work day like s22 ultra could. The biggest letdowns has been battery and camera quality. I know samsung could improve on this because 3700mah is awful. I consume a lot of streaming videos and podcasts and this is not enough battery. The camera needs improvement as well is great up close but from a distance it's terrible. The camera quality reminds me of my old s7 edge phone. I take a lot of photos but I'm not taking as many anymore because the quality is not up to par and I'm no expert or photographer or enthusiast. But this to me doesn't scream Samsung quality. But everything else is perfect I know it will get better with each new generation but this z flip 5 is headed in the right direction finally.

Worth the upgrade from the Flip 3!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Moving up from the Flip 3, I was excited to hear about all of the new features the Flip 5 had to offer. Of course, the worry about being the first wave of people to receive a new device is that you don't know what types of issues might pop up from real-life use.
Needless to say, all of my worries were gone week one of having my new phone. The new cover screen is beautiful and not having to constantly open my main screen is a real blessing. The default cover screen widgets are great and all, but enabling Good Lock really stepped up the cover screen to something greater than a just a "gimmick".
Now the new internal processor has also improved on some of my biggest complaints from my Flip 3. My Flip 5 doesn't suffer the same lag that the Flip 3 did on graphically demanding games with this new chip, and the efficiency has actually noticeably improved the battery life. Before I traded in my Flip 3, I was able to do some side by side testing with the two. I'm so glad to have the Flip 5 now, it greatly outperforms the Flip 3 and feature for feature it's an up and up upgrade all around.

I'm on some committees at church and rely on my phone for minutes at meetings and additional planning outlines as well! I love how if I'm on a video call I can flip the phone half open and half closed, turn it around and keep talking hands free! I also love how it folds small to fit securely in my back pocket !
