Love this phone, love that it folds in half..

Near Note capability, but no DEX

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My last phone was a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G and the Z Flip 5 is a very comparable phone by the specs. Honestly, in phone mode, it performs like a Note Series in most aspects. Lightning fast, very responsive, tons of features. When done kicking butt, you flip it closed and slide it in your pocket.
Definitely install Good Lock. I haven't had any issues running tons of apps using it. MLB App, Signal, Hulu...

Camera Mode
Going from A 108MP on the Note 20, the 12MP was something I knew I'd have to get used to. While it definitely doesn’t need to have 108MP, 20+ would be nice.

Battery
I use my phone... Email, streaming music to my Galaxy Buds, scrolling feeds, etc. I take it off my Samsung wireless charger around 6AM, by 3PM I'm around 35%. Not horrible, but not great. Luckily I have a cradle at my desk and can toss it on when at my desk.

All the required hardware, No DEX
Seriously, this bothers me to my core. Why? How freaking cool would it be to have full DEX capability in a flip? It meets all of the requirements, but no access.

A better widget experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Android and ios are adding widgets to their homescreen but they're all just limited icons basically, but on the flip5 and the flex screen, they're full on apps and offer just the right functionality.

Nice but missing somethings

The functionality of the phone is simple and fast My only concern or downfall for the phone is the camera. The resolution of the camera is too poor pictures won't you don't come up the best.
I'm used to having a higher resolution.

Great Folding Phone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my Flip5 mainly for browsing around and reading and so far it's been perfect. I love having the front screen give me my notifications, weather, and calendar without needing to open my phone.
The build quality seems great, no issues with the hinge or screens.
Camera is on par with my old S22, so no complaints on that front.
Bluetooth and Samsung Pay work flawlessly.
Overall I'm very happy with my Flip5 and would totally recommend it anyone in the market for a new phone!
