The phone heats up very quickly when active. Afterwards it is uncomfortable to the touch.

It's a phone that can't make calls

Hopefully anyone looking into buying this phone sees this: if you have kids or a high pitched voice, DO NOT BUY THE PIXEL 7! Their microphone filters out "background sounds" which it also identifies high pitched voices as... Thousands of people are having issues with not being able to call/video chat their kids with distant family members because you can't hear the kids - and you can't bypass the issue by adding an external mic because those aren't supported... Google has known about this issue since the phone came out and nothing has been done to date.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features

I'm no crazy phone expert, but when reliable phone reviewers called this one of the best phones out this year, I knew I had to get it. Display is great, cameras are great, only thing I would say about cameras is when you're taking a video, the 0.7x zoom looks awful. Honestly I don't regret buying this phone, and I bought it when best buy had this crazy 200$ discount.

Needed an upgrade to my Samsung Galaxy S8 and this fit the bill. Well priced, easy to setup, stock Google phone so easy to manage and the cameras are good. Would recommend this phone to anyone looking for a mid-range purchase.

This is literally one of the best ones I've ever had it takes great pictures it has great picture quality on videos good phone call quality great speed I think the only thing that I don't like about this phone is it doesn't have a headphone jack you have to use Bluetooth earbuds or headphones with this phone to listen to music other than that easy perfect phone for $800 I absolutely love this phone it's probably my favorite phone that I've ever had
