Convenient, Portable, and Reliable

I have maintained a beard for the past two years and have always used a straight razor for cleaning the neck and defining the beard, then a separate (larger) electric beard trimmer to maintain an even length beard.
I was leary of using the OneBlade, but the more I've used it, the more I've enjoyed it. It gives a close shave without taking the time and hassle of using a straight razor, and does a much better job of keeping an even length beard all around. It doesn't trap as much hair as most razors do when trimming which makes it much quicker to use.
Another pro, this razor overall is much smaller than others I've used in the past. As I travel quite often for work it's very easy to transport in my toiletries bag.
I do use it more often as the shave isn't as close as a straight razor, but it's only a few minutes and hassle-free. You can even use it in the shower.
Pros: portability, battery life, blade life, doesn't trap hair in blade, fairly priced

Excellent groomer and shaver

When I first received OneBlade, I was a little underwhelmed with the packaging. It was a very bland box with not much instruction. As I began to inspect the product, though, and hold it in my hand...it really is an excellent little groomer! It has a great look to it...I usually keep it out in plain view because it does look so cool, and it has been a great talking point with my buddies when they come over and have to use the restroom. Anyway, back to OneBlade...it works very well.
At first glance, it's pretty intimidating. It looks like a vibrating straight razor that you're about to take to your face and neck. I was a little worried about bleeds and nicks, so I was pretty cautious at first. By my second use I felt very comfortable and had zero misses. I never once got any cuts or nicks, though, even on my first use. The 3 length attachments were a little difficult to put on and take off at first, but after a couple times you really get the hang of it and figure out how to use them. The lengths are perfect for touch-ups and trimming.
I was used to only having a "shaver" before, so I haven't ever really been able to customize my facial hair length before. OneBlade really is the perfect compromise between a shaver and a groomer. It does both very, very well. It says on the box not to expect a baby's bottom-smooth face, but honestly it cuts very close to the face and I didn't need to use a razor for touch-ups at all. My previous shaver could never get the hair in the middle of my neck, just under my chin. I don't think I had trouble with any part of my face with OneBlade.
My only two complaints are that when I'm trimming with a length attachment, the little hairs tend to shoot up into my nose and eyes...and around the sink, which my wife doesn't appreciate. My previous shaver did a better job at catching the stubble, but OneBlade doesn't have any built-in stubble catcher.
The other is that the wall charger has no indicator of battery charge (nor does the device itself). I'd like to know how close I am to empty so that I don't run out of juice during a shave (which I have once already).
These are pretty small gripes, though, and overall I'd rate this groomer/shaver as excellent! I honestly do recommend it to all my buddies, and a couple of them have made the purchase and been happy as well.
I hope this review helped! I'm an actual user of OneBlade and purchased it for myself, so no worries about shills who are getting paid to write this review.
Pros: great shaver (very close shave), great trimmer (3 lengths), looks awesome, quiet (compared to my last), waterproof
Cons: no stubble catcher, no battery/charge indicator

Solid electric shaver

I was looking for an "all-in-one" shaver and the OneBlade definitely fit what I was looking for. It does everything I need from trimming my beard, sculpting edges or just a flat out shave. I will say that if I didn't have a beard, this probably wouldn't be the ideal product for me to be a daily shaver because it doesn't shave as close as other electric shavers I have or just a normal razor.
The only slight complaint I have is that the clips that come with the OneBlade. The difference in length between the #3 clip and #5 clip was too drastic (for me at least). The #5 is too long for the length of facial hair I like to keep (doesn't trim anything for me) and the #3 is too short (trims too close) so I don't have any in between options.
Overall I do love the OneBlade though, it is something that I was looking for for a long time. Easy to use, great battery life and ergonomic design.
Pros: great for beards, all-in-one design
Cons: variation in clip length, doesn't shave super close

Really great product, works well both wet and dry. This tool makes it super easy to trim my beard in the shower on a daily basis, without much fuss.
Only wish is that it could get that baby bottom smooth shave in the areas i trim!

- What you liked most about the OneBlade
The OneBlade is super easy to use and helps me keep my face looking neat and clean in minutes a day.
- What works better than your regular method
I now only need a single tool to shave and trim my whole face, instead of 2 or more tools previously.
- Whether you would recommend it to others
I would highly recommend everyone give the OneBlade a try!
Pros: easy to use, great for small detail work.
Cons: not around sooner
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy shaving, close cut, great edging, throw all your other tools away!

I love it. Everything about it. I used to have 3 different tools to get by beard the style I wanted. This replaces them all! It keeps my chord beard to a good length, it edges around my neck and shaves my cheeks where i dont want the hair.
I have yet to cut myself with it, even in sensitive areas like my lips.
it hold a charge for a few shaves. I use it in the shower every day!
A+ all around!
Pros: easy to use, edges your beard, hold a long charge, you can use it in the shower, keeps stubble even lengths 3 different attachemen, hard to cut yourself with it
Cons: only 3 lengths of attachements need a longer one, for close shave needs daily shave, i didnt get it sooner!!

Easy to use

This product is extremely easy to use. I get really bad razor burn from regular razors, but this product gives me a close shave without that razor burn, especially in the sensitive areas like my neck. I can shave with the grain, against the grain, doesn't matter.
Battery life is advertised at 50 minutes, and I've seen real world usage mimic that.
Nice rubber grip allows you to bring this with you into the shower so it doesn't slip out of your hand, although I've found that shaving when your dry is more effective than shaving when wet from a shower.

Best trimmer this bald, bearded man has ever used
on November 3, 2015

I've been keeping a short beard and shaving my head for over a decade and this is hands-down the best beard trimmer I've ever used. It solves my top two biggest problems with every other trimmer on the market: 1) With other trimmers, I have to go over the same spots again and again to get all the hairs -- and even then, there are still some longer hairs left behind. The OneBlade cuts every hair evenly after just a few strokes. 2) With other trimmers, the closest shave you'll get is 1 mm (or very rarely down to 0.5) without a guard. The OneBlade takes the hair down to the skin if desired and the razor burn factor is very limited. Another major plus is the double-sided trimming blade. This provides a quicker trim/shave by allowing you to use back and forth (push and pull) motions rather than contorting your arm around to push the blade the over the skin.
My cons are few and they shouldn't be hard for Philips to address in later versions of the device. First, there aren't enough guard sizes. Right now the OneBlade only offers 1mm, 3mm, or 5mm. I taper my beard from my shaved head to longer hairs on my chin, so I need the sizes between (i.e. 2mm and 4mm). Also, it would be great to have a 6 and an 8 as well for guys who like to keep a longer beard (I keep a longer beard in the winter months). Another issue is the placement of the power button. I've had to change the way I hold the trimmer because I find that the power button is the natural place I like to put my thumb when I use the device -- and obviously this leads to inadvertently turning the device off while in use. Hopefully Philips considers moving the power button to a different location on the device in later versions. Finally, the battery takes a long time to charge (I think 8 hours is advertised?). I'd love to see a more powerful battery in this device in the future.
Overall, the OneBlade is without any doubt the best trimmer/shaver I've ever owned. The OneBlade solves my biggest trimmer/shaving problems and I'm totally in love with it. This is definitely my beard's new best friend and will remain so indefinitely. Well done, Philips.
Pros: amazingly even trim, trims quickly, shaves down to skin if desired, double edged trimming blade, limited razor burn
Cons: not enough guard sizes, power button badly placed, takes a long time to charge fully
