No drip pot...not so much. Leaks with every pour, I am sure a seal no longer seals. Also, very quirky because the door pops open each brew cycle.
Make good tasting coffee though. I hope the warranty cover these design flaws.

Love the pot but it has one drawback, it is hard to fill without removing the reservoir.

Rusted heat plate, door can't stay closed, carafe leaks when pouring, not easiest to program, water still dripping after timer beeps. Overpriced for quality.

I LOVE this coffee maker, it makes a perfect pot of coffee everytime. I use it with filters but you don't have to. The only thing is that it doesn't have automatic shut off after brewing after a while. So you have to be very careful not to leave it on when leaving the house. You can adjust it for one cup and I love that because that is all I drink in the morning. I personally think it is an excellant coffee maker, the best I have ever owned. You can trust Kitchenaid for great equipment. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't have automatic shut off after a while. If it does I haven't figured it out.

The HARDEST coffee pot to progam--ever

Makes good coffee. Has lasted for several years. But, the controls are SO hard to read. Pale blue on a black background under glass. I have to change my shirt if I'm wearing white because the glare makes the controls impossible to read. Really difficult to run the clean cycle. Not in the least intuitive.

Great for My Needs

Am very happy with the overall performance. I especially like the pouring spout. The only time it drips is if I'm not paying attention to how I'm pouring. The brew cycle is quick and reliable and I like the 14-cup capacity versus 10-12 cups on other brands. Only problem I had was with cycling thru options like switching from 4-cup to full 14-cup mode -- had to switch a couple of times before the instructions took hold.
