We bought this All-In-One to replace some other HP Printers that we had for years. One feature that sold us was AirPrint compatiblity with our Apple iPad2. These things are difficult to print from without AirPrint capabilities. Although the product manual did not state anything about AirPrint, once it was turned on, it showed up as a printer on the iPod touch, iPad2, and the iPhone. The printer is fast and prints with good quality. The copier function is also good for our needs (ocassional copy). We have not tried out the scanner function, but it will probably function as well as the copy function. I would recommend this product to anyone needing to replace their current devices and that would like to be able to print from the iPad.

Great for Home Office

As a Realtor I need a reliable and now wireless all in one. This is my 3rd HP Copier in 10 years. As technology improves so does HP. Great all around printer for business use. Easy to set up for wireless. I would highly recommend this 8500A for 2 sided copies and scanning easy to operate. Reasonable ink costs.

Fast. Easy to program. Does everything and more than I expected.
Also, the price was right. Just wish the ink cartriges were.

Excellent network printer

Wireless setup was easy and very intutive. I use this printer at home and so far I have been very happy with it.
The only problem I had was registring with the HP eprint site, but it was resolved within a day.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Clumsy Design But Works

Initial setup took longer than expected and to my horror the top cover of my ADF broke off as I lifted it to clear a paper jam. Otherwise, I'm OK with this printer since it is working for me so far. In addition, see the actual product in the store before you buy because the OfficeJet 7410 I replaced has a duplex ADF while this 8500A doesn't unless it's an 8500A Plus or Premium, which I would have bought the Plus one had I not shopped online by price.
