Touchscreen Issues

After several years of relatively faultless operation, the touchscreen is not operating properly. When you press the location on the screen that you want to operate, it does not work, or it recognizes the function next to it. Eventually figured out that the touchscreen is no longer synched with the location of the virtual buttons. It is an adventure (not positive) to try to make adjustments using the touchscreen, sometimes just not possible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible Menu and features.

Came with the home. Wouldn't ever recommend wasting money on it. Can not even change the date and time on the model I have without reinstalling it all over again. The menu that is visible in manual and youtube videos doesn't exist in our model.

Hi, please see the following direction to set the date and time for this model. 1. Touch the current time. The screen displays Select Option. 2. Touch Time or Date, then touch Select. 3. Touch s or t until the proper time/date is displayed. 4. Touch Done to save or Cancel to ignore changes. 5. Touch Home to redisplay the Home screen. -Joey

They had to put 3 different ones in my home before the thermostat would work ! A new system at that ! Disappointed!!

If using as programmable can only set a new temp (hold) for a short temporary time. So leaving for vacation or staying home for a regular work day means you must hourly go back and reset the thermostat.

Hi, it sounds like you are using a temporary hold. We can help you set up a permanent hold which will only stop when you cancel it. Simply follow these steps on your thermostat:
1. Touch Up or Down to adjust the temperature (right side of screen). 2. Select Permanent Hold to keep the same temperature until you change it or tell your thermostat to resume the programmed schedule. 3. Touch Cancel Hold to stop the hold and resume the programmed schedule.

Thermostat Locked with a code.

Our Thermostat accidentally locked with some code and we forgot the code. I don't know how to reset the password or factory restore the thermostat..

I’m not really sure what having WiFi will do for me. Secondly if I loose WiFi in my house does this thermostat quit letting the HVAC run properly??
