Moved up from a Panasonic FZ80, a great camera. Have been extra impressed at the full frame's ability to capture low light photos while holding it in my hands, versus needing a tripod for the Panasonic to take lower light images. Also, the quality and resolution of my photos are better with more balanced contrast, reflecting almost exactly what I see with my naked yes. The A7 iii had arrived, but the new features and much higher price point, well, I could not justify them. Here are some photos I've taken with the new A7 ii.
I'm sure the product is fine. Deciding which of the 5 numbers on the box and camera are the model number vs serial numbers is a real challenge. Try larger type and simple verbage like serial number = ; would save a lot of time.

Dark spot on all images. On a 4 x 6 print the spot is about 1/16 inch in diameter, about 1/3 of the way into the image from the left and a little over half-way down from the top. Most likely a sensor defect. Not good for a very expensive camera.

This is my forth A7 series camera and I love it. The only issue that I have so far is the lack of a prompt screen to set the IS focal length at start up. My Pentax dslr's show the set focal length at start up, if a manual lens is mounted. I did assign the IS set function to button C4, which is good, but it is to easy to forget to set the IS focal length. I attached a label to the top of the view finder to remind me, until it becomes a habit to set it. SONY please add the prompt screen to the great A7 series cameras.
