My two biggest gripes after 3 weeks of usage: Charging LED indicator is well visible only if I put camera upside down Wifi transfer is painfully slow for RAW files, like 300kbps slow, 40 photos in an hour. Besides these minor points I love the camera, I've upgraded from Panasonic GF1 and Canon 7Dmk1, the jump in light sensitivity and usability is great. A7mk2 with kit lense gives much better results in low light than 7D with 50mm/1.4. Realtime (over)exposure feedback in EVF is godsent under sunny winter conditions.

Love this camera, its easy to use but has the manual control for when you feel like experimenting or giving your photos that creative depth! Fairly quick, beautiful shots in light, or low light. Stabilization system works flawlessly for me! Glad to see that Sony is releasing more full frame e mount lenses!

One of the beast Camera so far. I bought the Sony a7II six Months ago and I am very happy ever since. I really recommend with absolute confidence. Take a look the Picture
Upgrading to a full frame camera, this is so much lighter and easier to use than other cameras. Photos are dazzling and clear and detailed. Once learnt all the gimmicks, the buttons and design were smooth. Would love more lens options and be lighter still, but carrying hiking with a backpack, much easier.
This camera is delivering the sharpest, most inspiring photos I've ever taken! As I'm learning the MANY user-friendly features encompassed in this compact, full-frame wonder, I'm absolutely amazed at the results I'm seeing. Combined with the growing quiver of beautiful Sony lenses I'm slowly accumulating, my ability to create breathtaking images multiplies by the day. I'm loving the journey this is taking me on!

So i just go into photography and wanted a full frame Camera coming from A6000 i didn't research and found that this camera has all the features that i wanted. I'm always on the go and moving around alot. the 5 axes in body stabilization really helps especially when i'm recording life log videos. No i am no professional but with this camera i feel as if i have been doing photography for years. Super fast auto focus and video tracking is incredible. mirror less is the future. i only wish i wanted 2 weeks before buying this camera because i just found out about the A7RM2 which i believe is the best camera EVER!!!
I'm pretty new to photography so consider that with my review. After owning this camera for about 1 year i think i have a decent opinion of it. I've been able to capture some magical moments with this camera from the very start. The a7ii continually amazes me when i pull up the files on a PC and see the amount of color and light that i'm able to adjust. I thought the battery life would be a big issue, and that really isn't the case. It's something I can easily manage. I've purchased an inexpensive dual charger and a couple spare batteries and this is all i need. I've never run out of juice. For a long session i would get to a 2nd battery and be done. I do wish Sony would work on a better Menu system.
