It totally works!

Fully plug and play. Range on the inside antenna is about 6-8 feet. Draws 1 amp. There should be a swivel mount option for easy up/down between camp/driving!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doesnt work as good as I had hoped

I did a lot of research before taking the plunge. When I finally got it, I was a little disappointed that the wires weren't longer in order to properly hardwire it.
When I did get it installed and turned it on I didn't even notice a difference in signal strength even parked in my driveway. I played around with the infernal antenna and the best it can do is give you a single extra bar. Everywhere I had gone previously with low or no signal, still had low or no signal and I am starting to think it's pretty useless and mostly placebo effect. It does not and will not extend the range, just gives you more bars. I know it can't make signal out of nothing, but I'm not even in remote parts and thought it would give me at least 1 bar where I would lose signal. Dave your money and invest in starkink setup if you really wanna have coverage for a little more money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We don't generally go off of signal bars because sometimes, for example, 2 bars can be enough to do anything on a phone and sometimes 2 bars is dropping bars, so we usually test the signal down to a numerical value. Great product. Easy installation, easy set up, and directions. Great line of sight reception but not so much in hills, unfortunately because our hunting land is in such geographical location. The very reason I purchased the unit is because of the location and little to no cell reception.

Does what it says, If you only have 1 bar, it will usually boost it up to 2. However the price point is really high for the level it boosts your signal. Considering the other versions are weaker, I wonder if they even work.
