It took about 45 minutes to install on my Ford F-150. The longest part was routing the antenna wire. I put two heat shrinks and rubber tape where the wire passed through the hole leading into the cab for wear protection. After the set up I ran the signal test and found a 401% increase in signal. That was from my front yard!!! Thank you for the product. We got it for RVing and keeping up with this Texas weather.

Nice product but all the hardware is rusting in months

Sad that a product can work this well and didn't include stainless hardware. This is visible from the ground and everyone asks about it since the rest of the RV looks great. I tell everyone it should be call WERUST no WEBOOST. I love the product but why am I engineering a fix for this?

I know we have recently changed springs, and the material is different than previous versions, it's not the shiny stainless steel spring like before. Exactly what I was hoping for

Pro: As a truck driver, we are going into all kinds of areas. Although dropped calls aren't quite as big of an issue as it used to be, there is still an issue where calls break up and may as well drop. In my normal area of operation, I was dropping calls in about 10-15 spots, not including all the areas where it was difficult to maintain a conversation. Now, there is only 1 spot I drop calls and maybe two spots where the call is breaking up. The data transmission boost is so nice! I drove around for a few days listening to live-streaming from Twitch (highest demand I could think of because there isn't any buffer). Incredibly effective! There are still spots where it breaks up, obviously, but a small fraction relative to what it is when the booster is turned off. If you're thinking this will put a cell tower in your vehicle, you may need to revisit your expectations. But there is clearly a significant difference in performance in all areas (particularly data upstream). To improve something as critical and frequently used as our phone, it is well worth the investment if you're an OTR driver. Con: The problem I have with it is that it is a very expensive piece of equipment. Not something you're going to want to replace (why I bought the 5g instead of the cheaper one). So the fact that the connections on the booster itself are so fragile is frankly a little offensive. You have to mount the box inside a bullet proof box of some sort to keep from damaging those connections. This is some poor engineering, to say the least and is in serious need of updating.

Finally a Signal Booster that actually works

I’ve purchased this unit about a month ago and actually changes the location of the antenna three times, not because of performance, simply because of the way it looked on my new truck. The OTR booster works awesome with my AT&T WiFi within my truck. I spend a lot of time in the mountains of Colorado where there is no signal, now I can watch dish anywhere through my trucks WiFi because of this product. I would highly recommend this product to those, like me, that struggle with cellphone connectivity.
