I am still getting used to the tools, but I think I like it. It is hotter heat than I expected. The shape is easier to manage than a traditional dryer, and the brush attachment takes out the need for holding a brush and a dryer, so that's great. I love the smoothing attachment and I have been curl drying my tween's long hair successfully.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not a good hairdryer. You will still need you regular dryer. Tried to return, but the process is a nightmare. I would suggest buying from a retailer you know you can return to and not direct from Dyson. Good quality, but take forever to dry.

I bought this for 110V. I used to use 220V back my home country. I really like airwrap. Without dyson airlap, dryer and vaccume I don’t wang to leave home.

This review is for the new 2024 air wrap in Strawberry copper. I have waited for 3 years, hoping the air wrap would update to one barrel. Now that it has, I pulled the trigger. I love it. Prior to purchase, I watched every video I could find and that really helped me. I’m not gonna say I have beach curls down perfectly, but I sure do have the loose curls under my belt. I expect things will only improve with practice. My hair responds well to a Redken 22 as a heat protectant and volumizer/hold prep. The cold shot is essential or the curl will go flat quickly.
I took off one star because I think a slightly smaller barrel would provide a better outcome for shoulder length hair.

Completely happy and love the multi styler. My daughter received one several years ago and also loves hers, but I always felt I didn’t need to spend that much money. I had longer hair. And my hairstylist cut my hair way shorter than I wanted! I was struggling with my flat iron blow dryer and L’ange round brush. I so regret not buying this sooner.

It's really great. The air wrap curling and smoothing brushes are my favorites of all the attachments - so easy to use and cuts styling time in half. My hair holds curls better with a traditional curling iron, but the air wrap versions feel way gentler and kinder to my delicate (fine, color-treated) long hair. I wish the round brush attachment was a little better quality bristles and the smoothing tool is a bit awkward to use. I absolutely don't regret the investment of these tools. I waited a long time before purchasing and I am really glad I did. The improvements to the ease of switching directions on the curling wands is a huge improvement to previous models. I think Dyson is the best and I am a convert.
