Ring does not hold a charge more then a day
on July 2, 2025
Posted by: Extremelyfrustrated
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ring stopped holding a charge after a couple of months. Called tech support after calling 4 times with no resolve they asked me to send the ring in. They said they would send a return label emailed to me. Recieved email with no return label and the wrong info on what was told to them as the problem. Have had issues with the last few items purchased from Samsung and have been purchasing for years with no problem. Very hard to deal with as a company now. Never called back because they have already taken hours of my life away from me with no resolve. Very frustrating.

Aloha Extremelyfrustrated,
Thanks for taking the time out of your busy day to share your thoughts with us about your Samsung Galaxy Ring. As we strive to be innovative and make improvements on the design and functionality of our product line, your feedback is invaluable. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, linked below. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. Please feel free to review, "How to charge the Galaxy Ring" if you would like to learn more about the factors that may be impacting the life of your device. If you would like any further assistance afterward, please feel free to reach out to Samsung Support. Thank you for being a steadfast Samsung customer.

loved it until.....

I loved this ring, fit great, gives great information. Then about one year after I bought it, the battery started rapidly losing its charge on a daily basis. I reset it several times and it would be okay for a day or two, but then suddenly down to nothing. I'm concerned if I get another one I will have the same issue after one year.

Battery died in less than a year
on December 10, 2025
Posted by: scsc
I found the ring annoying to use as it was a bit bulky and got in the way sometimes.
Eventually, less than a year of ownership, the battery started dying much faster than I expected. I wasn't sure what was wrong, I tried to verify it was dying, tried to factory reset, and sure enough after testing multiple times, from a full charge I would go down to 50% and then dead within a few hours. I set it aside for a while as I had some personal medical issues I was having to address for months.
Months later, I tried to charge it again and it is completely dead when it comes out of the box, so battery on the ring itself completely died.
I tried filing for a warranty but I was just slightly out of the warranty time frame. My fault for not filing earlier but I have more pressing concerns.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad battery life after a year
on December 13, 2025

Love the Ring, however, after I had it about 13 months, I started having issues with it holding a charge. Of course the warranty is expired. I end up resetting it every day after I charge it because otherwise the battery only lasts a couple of hours. I'm lucky if I can get a whole 24 hours from a charge now and I used to get at least 4 days because I wear it with my Galaxy watch too.

Terrible battery life
on February 16, 2026
Posted by: Samsung loyalist
from Virginia
I have been loyal to Samsung for over a decade. I've never had a complaint until this ring. It was amazing at first! Then, after about 6 months, the battery started draining terribly fast. At this point, a little over a year in, I'm having to charge multiple times a day. Last night I did an update that was supposed to help and it actually made it worse. I fell asleep to it fully charged and woke to 10 percent remaining. Fully charged it again, and by lunchtime had to charge again. A few hours later, I'm needing to charge yet again. Samsung, please find a fix for those of us that are desperately trying to give y'all the benefit of the doubt.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
