Great other than battery issues.

Love everything about this ring other than after about ten months, the battery life went from ~7 days per charge to 1-3 days on a full charge. Sometimes dropping 60% overnight. No change after updating firmware, etc. I have sent it in for warranty repair, so we'll see how it holds up once I get it back.

Expensive, delicate, bad quality
on January 13, 2026

from Portland, OR
I had a great experience at first, but after a few months, the battery life tanked to less than 6 hours. I got it fixed under warranty, but 9 months later, the same problems started again. Now the battery is low, it won't stay connected to my phone, and the LEDs are dead—it only works while it's in the case. Since it's no longer under warranty, I have to pay for the repair myself. As an early buyer, I expected much more involvement and support from Samsung, but I don't feel backed by the brand at all. It hasn't lasted anytime, and frankly, I feel scammed. For such an expensive device, it's extremely delicate. I even took it off to wash my hands just to be safe, but it still broke. Honestly, it's expensive junk and I strongly do not recommend it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We strive to continue providing our customers with exceptional experiences and quality products to enjoy. As you are aware, Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. That's because we believe in the quality of our product line! Poor Product

Horrendous product. Purchased the ring about 9 months ago and use sparingly the first 4 months, daily for last 5 months. Battery life about 5 days per advertised. Last week, the ring battery suddenly dropped from 60% remaining to 0% in matter minutes and drops 20% each 2 hours. Ring does not last a day now. Contacted warranty support and the support website says the ring is out of warranty now even though it should be a 1 year warranty. Ditching the samsung ring and shopping for alternative ring now.

Not great long term
on November 15, 2025
Posted by: JMack
This ring was great at the beginning but like other reviews, after just 10 months I have to charge the ring every other day. Just this morning after I charged it to 100%, it dropped to 87% within an hour and a half. I was simply in the kitchen doing tasks. It also doesn't accurately count steps all the time. Example when I get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom, it doesn't count the steps or if I've been laying down for a bit then get up to do things, it won't count the steps. It also isn't tracking my sleep as accurate. Within just 3 months of having it, the color started wearing off on the edges (I purchased a black ring). Really disappointed in the longevity of this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Please ensure that your Galaxy Ring fits properly and that your location permissions are enabled for the Samsung Health app, if your device is not tracking your steps correctly. The Galaxy Ring tracks steps using its internal sensors to detect your hand's movement. A few steps might not be counted if your hand is stationary (e.g., pushing a stroller), the ring isn't worn correctly, or if the app is set to prioritize data from your phone over the ring. Lacking technology and accuracy tracking
on March 19, 2026
Posted by: KentF
from Dallas
I owned a Ringconn for 2 years and because all my other technology is Samsung, I decided to change my ring to Samsung. After 3 weeks of using the Samsung ring I am disappointed. I play tennis for 2 hours and the ring only captures 2,000 steps. My watch and previous rings would capture at least 5,000 steps. The Ringconn also detected activity and suggested a form of exercise and asked me to categorized that activity. The Samsung does not recognize antiviral. Also, the sleep scoring is unpredictable. Last night I slept 7 hours and 45 minutes with 1 hrs 45 minutes deep sleep, 1hr 30 minutes REM. And fell asleep in 5 minutes(but the watch recorded 4hours). That was a sleep score of 50!!! The look of the ring is nice and so is the finish. I feel like the technology is off or I have a defective ring.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
