Powerful performance and incredible Galaxy AI.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Samsung Galaxy Ring for several weeks now, and it has completely redefined my approach to personal health tracking. The Ring is a breath of fresh air, lightweight titanium build and sleek, concave design make it incredibly comfortable; I often forget I am even wearing it, I got the gold one.
The integration with Galaxy AI is where this device truly separates itself from the competition. Every morning, I check my Energy Score in the Samsung Health app. I love being able to check my sleep quality, heart rate variability, and previous day's activity into a single, easy-to-understand number. It is accurate at predicting how I will feel throughout the day. The AI-powered sleep coaching provides personalized, actionable insights that have genuinely helped me improve my nightly rest patterns.
Battery life has been stellar, lasting days on a single charge. The charging case is not only functional but feels like a premium piece of tech jewelry. I would to have case color to choose from in future designs. I also love the gesture controls being able to dismiss an alarm or take a photo with a simple double-pinch gesture feels like living in the future. If I leave my phone behind and the alarm is ringing one simple gesture shuts it down. looove it. Also not having to pay a monthly subscription to stay healthy is amazing, it provides all these advanced metrics and AI insights without an extra fee. If you want a durable, stylish, and intelligent pick Samsung.

Disappointing Longevity and Battery Failure
on March 31, 2026

While the Galaxy Ring is a neat concept when it’s actually functioning, the long-term ownership experience has been incredibly frustrating. I’ve gone through two of these now, and the hardware simply doesn’t seem built to last.
The Issues:
Poor Battery Lifespan: My biggest grievance is the battery reliability. My first ring failed within the first year. The replacement fared even worse, failing almost exactly one month after the warranty expired. It seems there is a consistent issue where the battery gives out around the 15-month mark—a sentiment I’ve seen echoed in numerous forums and user complaints.
Build Quality: For the price point, the ring feels surprisingly cheap. The initial "cool factor" of the data wears off quickly, and after about three months, I found myself stopped checking the app entirely because the insights didn't feel worth the hassle.
Value for Money: Between the hardware failing twice and the lackluster build, I cannot recommend this. It feels like an expensive prototype rather than a polished, durable wearable.
Bottom Line: Unless you’re comfortable replacing your tech every year, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. The battery issues alone make this a poor investment.
Note: Samsung AI used to help write this review.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Andrew,
Thanks for sharing your sentiments with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We value your feedback as we continue to improve the performance and functionality of our product line. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which is similar to an extended warranty and an insurance package combined. It can provide protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It could cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ truly offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with any repair needs you may have. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. If you would like further assistance after reviewing the resources provided below, please let us know by contacting Samsung Support at your leisure. Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer.

Stay away, the battery will fail
on April 3, 2026

I loved the Galaxy ring. It was comfortable and fit my style well. But like many others have reported, mine died a few weeks out of warranty. The battery went from lastin 6-7 days to about 3 very suddenly and within a week it only lasts a few hours at most now. Of course Samsung says too bad it's out of warranty while trying to convince me it's my fault for not buying their extended service. I don't think a tech product should genuinely become useless after a single year.in the end it's a garbage product destined for a landfill as there's no way to arrive the battery due to the Ring's construction. Will never fall for that again unless Samsung releases a model with a multi year warranty that covers battery degradation. $400 for a ring that isn't even made of actual previous metals since it no longer works

Works great! *when it works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using a different smart ring for about a year and recently switched to a Galaxy Ring. This thing feels wonderful to wear! I love not having a heavy watch to wear at night to get stats on my sleep, which is the main purpose of the wearables I've had over the years.
The not so great part is that the ring stopped connecting to Bluetooth after about 6 days of use :-/ Devices go bad for various reasons, so take it with a grain of salt. But it definitely colors my personal experience.

Hi there JustJessee,
Thanks for taking the time to review your Samsung Galaxy Ring. We appreciate your honesty as we strive to provide the best products on the market to our customers. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, linked below. If your Galaxy Ring won’t enter Bluetooth pairing mode, you can try rebooting it using the charging case. Keep in mind that your Galaxy Ring must be within 98 feet of your phone to connect to it using Bluetooth. Please take a moment to review, "Galaxy Ring won't connect via Bluetooth" to conduct some simple troubleshooting steps on your device. Ensure that the Bluetooth feature on your phone is enabled and check if the Ring is out of battery. Also make sure there are no obstacles, such as walls or electrical equipment, between the devices. Please verify that the latest version of the Galaxy Wearable app is installed on your phone. If not, update the Galaxy Wearable app to the latest version. Then ensure that your Ring and the other Bluetooth device are within the Bluetooth connection range (10 m). The distance may vary depending on the environment the devices are used in. Restart your phone and reopen the Galaxy Wearable app. If you have any questions for us after reviewing the resources shared, do not hesitate to reach out to Samsung Support at your earliest convenience. Thank you for being a loyal Samsung customer.

This product is simply great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The set process was extremely simple, the ring works seamlessly with other samsung products and is really durable, i shower, swim, sleep, work, literally everything while wearing the ring and i haven't had any issues, i often work with brick and expected the ring get pretty scratched up, I can happily say i haven't gotten a single scratch on it, and it feels like any ordinary ring, extremely comfortable.
I'd also like to mention the case for the ring is absolutely stunning and well built.
Also the sizing process was extremely informative and useful.

Excellent help adding steps
on February 25, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the phone, watch and now the ring. I enjoy the seamless connection of all 3 in tracking my steps, keeping tabs on my vitals. I like that now I can include movements from showering, washing my hair and getting dressed in my step/movements. At my age I need this type of tracking. The ring is comfortable, except when walking with mu trekking poles. It is on my pointer and it rubs/pinches right at the joint. I think if I wear gloves it might not annoy me as much. That is the only negative thing about the ring and that was generic. Oh wait one more, the battery level does not show on the watch with my phone and buds. I have to open the wearable app to see if I should charge it.😶
I have suggested to others to get the ring as it is helpful especially for tracking sleep, heart rate and steps when getting dressed while the watch is charging and staying dry😉.
This world is crazy and for the cost of just the equipment these are great tools to have. No annual subscription, yeah!😄

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I switched from my Oura ring to the Samsung one, and wow! It's sleek, easy to use, and the features are awesome. The battery lasts a crazy seven days, and the best part? I can use it as a remote for my S25 Ultra camera. Even my doctor was blown away by all the health data it tracks. Samsung, great job!
