Great replacement of a smart watch

I have worn a smart watch for close to 8 years. Switiching to the ring has been a great chance to "unplug" a bit more as I no longer get the notifications buzzing on my wrist anymore. I still get the health tracking, but with less distraction. I also get to wear all of my older regular watches that have been sitting idle for so long.
definitely recommend buying and switching.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I hate watches

I love my ring. Sometimes my fingers swell and I have to switch to a different finger but I'm okay with it. It's a super thick ring so I sized for my first finger. It's been great. No regerts.

Response from Samsung USBy R&R TeamFebruary 9, 2026
Greetings Ryan,
Thanks for sharing your feedback with us about your experience using your Samsung Galaxy Ring. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. Please feel free to take a look at the resources below to help resolve what you've described. Then, do not hesitate to contact Samsung Support afterward if you would like further assistance. Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer.

This is my second ring purchase and can honestly say the battery life on these is horrible. Samsung's warranty process is a joke.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great fitness right - good fit, quality, easy

I recently traded in my Oura ring for the Samsung Galaxy Ring. I have a Samsung phone so connecting and setting up the ring was very easy. Samsung Health connects to Google Health Connect, so my other meal and exercise tracking app data flowed right in. I like the fit and form factor of the Samsung with its matted finish. I love the gesture controls to take photos from a distance!
