Constant Active Bluetooth Connection

i had the 2017 gear iconx buds, and they were great! when done, i'd put them in the case to charge, they'd disconnect from bt.
buds pro don't do this. when i'm done and put them in the case, bt connection remains active, and phone audio remains assigned to buds, in the case, with the lid closed.
no audio is played through them like this, but i can barely take the bud out, and the audio starts immediately.
i must manually disconnect bt, or switch audio back to the phone.
samsung must update app/buds to allow 'case closed disconnect'!
i contacted support, did troubleshooting, i was told that the case was being connected to the phone.
"not be able to disconnect once you place the earbuds on the charging case as it is the actual case that is being connected to your smart phone"

The right features for a decent price

audio quality is better than the buds+ and i love having anc.
the battery life is better than most of the high-end buds similar to these. though they don't last quite as long as the buds+, but that is due to anc.
i like to let one earbud charge while i have the other one in. that only works if i can use each earbud independently. jabra, sony, bose...etc you can only use the right earbud by itself. so when it dies, i can't put it in the case and use only the left. however, all of buds line let you use the left or right by itself.
i almost didn't get these due to the negative reviews around the fit. they work well for me, but are a little less comfy than the buds and buds+. you just have to make sure to twist them when placed in your ears.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don't move your jaw

the bane of in-ear buds seems to be the limitation of talking / chewing while using them and not having the buds come out. i thought this latest iteration of samsung buds, especially after the challenge of wearing the buds live, would (magically?) solve this problem. i tried each of the three inserts, and unfortunately the buds kept loosening up. it was hard to reinsert them without turning off the sound. maybe in-ear buds are not for me. now i see samsung is getting rid of the earphone plug on their newest phones. oh woe is me.

Horrible quality control

samsung's quakity control in their most expensive earbud till date is terrible. my galaxy bud pros make loud static noise when i turn on the anc mode. because of this, my buds sound more noisy with anc than without it. absolutely trrrible purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

These are really great earbuds

i noticed that there's definitely a mixed review when it comes to these earbuds but these have been great extremely comfortable bunch of different controls to fit them to your specification definitely one of the best earbuds imo 10/10

Great sound, limited function

the sound is very good and i love the customizability of it, but the noise cancelling is definitely not as good as some other products. if you want the best, sony does better, but if you just want some great sounding headphones with decent noise cancelling, these will do fine.
if you dont have samsung scalable codec, look elsewhere. the difference in sound quality is huge without it.

They don't fit

i already own all the galaxy buds, and they all fit in my ear. the galaxy buds pro sound pretty good, they are louder and more bassy then the buds plus. but the buds pro won't fit in my ears. i tried all the tips from large to small size, the small tip goes in my ear, but even then the earbuds will not stay in my ear. the medium tips simply won't fit in my ear canal at all. the left bud stays in, but falls out with a little bit of head shaking. the right bud won't stay in at all and falls out when i move my lips (which also moves my ear, like smiling) or even tilt my head. on my galaxy buds plus i have the medium size wingtips and ear tips as well, and they don't even fall out while working out. so what is the deal with the galaxy buds pro? they sound good, but do not fit.

Best Buds available! Good sound and ANC.

first of all, when wearing correctly, those buds are very comfortable and don't fall out. people who complain about this need to inserting the tip into ear canal, and then twist the buds towards back of the head.
sound is amazing. it's sounds better than full sized sony wh-1000mx3 while about 80% as good on anc. those buds blows apple ipods pro out of the water both in terms of sound and anc.
