There is some good, but the bad is bad.

the quality of the buds and sound are fine and so far happy there.
however, the bad is really bad and will probably casuse these buds to be tossed in the drawer until resolved. the issue is is these only work with samsung apps regarding assistant, messages, etc.
no one uses bixby samsung but not allowing google assistant, messages, calendar, etc. to be used is just wrong. i bought buds, not your apps.
hopefully this is just an update needed by google to those apps but if samsung has locked the buds to only allow bixby and their apps - in the junk drawer they go.
if i had known this upon ordering (free or not) i would have picked something else with my 21 ultra.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Where is the Double Tap feature?

anc, spatial audio, sweat-resistance, and improved audio quality are all great. galaxy buds have never sounded better.
battery life seems to be an issue. having anc/ambient mode on will absolutely drain your battery.
will we ever get the double tap feature back? it allows for two more options for touch and hold instead of being used for volume up/down.
what i would like to see added is a block/unblock touch feature through the buds itself. perhaps touch and hold will turn on block touches and will disable other functions until the touch and hold is pressed again to enable normal touch function. not having to bring out the phone for this would be a plus.
i hope to see more features added as time passes, as well as having the battery efficiency improved in future updates.
I would recommend this to a friend!

An small improvement, but frustrating

the independent buds are nice but this means they to bottom line, obviously, i buy a lot of samsung stuff. but, the buds side of things are a let down. major issues are no mute button, they fall out and no multipoint. i still use my plantronics for my everyday calls and moving around ready for calls as a result. i do like listening to music on them but they fall out. i would prefer the buds live form factor with ipx7, multipoint, the new wind noise mic system,, and a mute button for the perfect samsung offering which they don't sell yet. the music being better is a minor point given the other issues.

Useless Fallout

what's amazing about samsung earbuds is samsung has done nothing to redesign their ear buds so they don't constantly fallout. this complain is very widespread over the past few years. they will do their best to reply to these complaints and attempt to make it appear as a "user problem" when in fact it's a design issue for many people without the "right" ear type. expensive gamble to find out you have the wrong ear type to use these ear buds. be fast to return them if they fallout alot. that is guaranteed not to get any better & they will sit in the case unused for many years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing headphones

My favorite features is pretty much noise canceling, it comes in handy. Also I love the fact that when you start talking the music volume goes down and let you hear the other person you're talking to.

These things hurt

stupid buds make your ears hurt. i am a grown adult with big ears and these "buckets" not only make my ears hurt but also may jaw. they are so uncomfortable, after only 4 days i have pain in my ears. bad ergonomics, you don't have to make them huge to stick them inside your ear until you have pain so they won't fall out. you need suitable ergonomics and softer materials to make them comfortable. i thought , being the 3rd gen, they might actually be great. were the first 2 this bad? the sound bounces between ears as you turn your head, that the heck is that? you try to get ahead of yourself with all this ai nonsense. keep it clean samsung, remember always, less is more.
