Better Sound Quality, works for small ears

i liked the previous versions of the galaxy buds but i always found that they hurt my ears after wearing them for 45 min, and that was using the smallest inserts provided with them. with the pros, i have yet to have any pain unless i have them in my ears at an incorrect angle. using the middle size, they stay in my ear comfortably for hours. also like the additional features provided with these

Missing some customization, but great sound

these are missing some customization, but you can change a few important ones. the option to text support before this review is pointless. they only showed a link to the features i already knew about. i'm also still bitter about not getting my credit for pre ordering my note 20 ultra. overall these are better than my power beats pro, they have many more features and actually sound better, plus aren't apple.... if you're in the market for $200 headphones these are up there. definitely better then beats, and jbl in this bracket. hopefully samsung will fix a few run time issues (i only got 1.5-2 hours with ambient sound on medium.) and honor their pre order deals.

Great sound quality and completely immersive!

love the sound quality indoors! mic is very clear during calls in and outside. only beef is i like the ear wing tips they were great. i do not use these buds more than one at a time usually for audio books so i haven't fully tested the battery capabilities. love love love them!!!!

Great, but ear problems

overall, these are great. fits well, sounds great. however, i think i'm allergic to the silicone ear tips. after one use, the rim of my ear where the ear tips sit is extremely irritated: itchy, red, peeling, etc. i've never had this issue with any ear tips before. i tried all the different sizes that were included thinking it was a fit issue, but every time i wear them, i get the same reaction. are there any alternative ear tips (foam?), etc. seems the fit is proprietary and of course, i can't find any replacements.

the last uodate made automatuc switch between anc and ambient much mkre seamless. these buds are the best imo.

Design change is dumb; will not stay in ear

the sound quality is great, ambient noise is fairly well interpreted, and noise cancellation is fair at best. i appreciate the water resistance as well.
but these buds fail at the most fundamental goal: staying in the ear. samsung removed the wing tips from the previous galaxy buds plus design. consequently, they continually dislodge from the ear, no matter which rubber tip i have installed. not only does this lead to potential loss or damage to the buds, but it negates one of the primary selling points: noise cancellation. since the buds plus actually stay in the ear, they do a better job of insulating against environmental noise than the newfangled buds pro.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does not stay in ear like buds +

i'll start with the good. definitely stepped up on the sound quality and loudness. also the ambient sound feature has improved tremendously.
the bad, the voice detect mode needs a lot of work. it pretty much only works when i clear my throat. it does a terrible job of picking up my voice or anyone else's. the noise cancelation feature does literally nothing. it sounds the exact same turned on or off. the biggest problem however is that these do not stay in your ear. i've watched the tutorial, i know how ear buds work so don't try to point me to your instructional video because it's bs. the bids plus were so good. they stayed so snug in my ear and had so many options. i've tried all the silicone ear pieces non of them work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

seems like this is the common problem, they wont stay in! i have changed the silicone tips to see if that helped and it did, but just a tiny bit. i also had the buds plus and those fit amazing! that wing tip really came in great use! funny, i loved the matte black case from the buds, then the buds plus was glossy (not a fan), and now yay we have matte black again but what difference does it make when they dont stay or feel secure in your ear! the sucky part is i'll just pay again for an upgrade and hope that its better than this...oh well.
