Nice for decluttering outlets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prior to trying the Staples Tech 8-Outlet Surge Strip I was using a 6 outlet surge protector with all of the outlets crammed together. The Staples surge strip is nice because the outlets are spaced out and the 4 outlets on the end have enough room for large adapters. Another nice feature is the plug for the surge strip is flat and turned slightly which made it easier to plug in behind my TV stand. Currently I use this power strip in my living room for my TV laptop baby swing fan and lamp. The extra space allows for easy access to the plugs. However when I tried to plug in my TV I had to use a lot of force. I noticed that 2 of the outlets seemed to be partially blocked. Overall I would recommend the Staples Tech 8-Outlet surge strip for rooms that have a lot of devices. I deducted 1 star because it was hard to push my TV plug into the outlet and the wide body of the surge strip made it hard to tuck away out of sight.

The Staples Tech 8-Outlet Surge Strip (4 500 Joules 6ft) has been an absolute game-changer for keeping everything powered organized and safe. The 8 outlets are perfectly spaced so I can plug in larger adapters without blocking other slots and I no longer have to constantly swap out devices. The 4 500-joule surge protection gives me peace of mind especially during storms or power fluctuations—I know all our expensive school and office tech is safe. The 6-foot cord is the perfect length to reach our homeschool table from the wall outlet without creating a mess or trip hazard. I also love the flat plug design which fits neatly behind furniture. Everything about this surge protector feels sturdy and thoughtfully designed for high-use environments. If you’re homeschooling or working from home and need a dependable heavy-duty power strip that can keep up with your day I highly recommend this one!

Reliable and Simple Surge Protector

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with this surge protector power strip! It offers 8 outlets which is plenty for my needs and there's enough space between the outlets to comfortably plug in larger devices without them overlapping. The 6-ft cable gives me flexibility to place it where I need and the LED indicators showing that the outlet is grounded and in surge mode are a great touch for peace of mind. I’ve used it for devices like my phone laptop and air filter and it handles everything well. The simplicity of the design is something I really appreciate. I also like the screw mounts on the back which make it easy to secure it to a surface and the on/off switch on the front adds a nice layer of convenience. The only thing I wish it had is a few USB A or USB C slots for added convenience but overall it’s a great product.

Simple and effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty simple and straightforward device. I really like the way the plug lays flat against the wall and there is plenty of space for larger plugs. I've used it for a lamp and phone charger so far and it works. My only concern is that the outlets are very stiff feeling and I thought I was going to break my plugs or I was putting them in the wrong way when I first inserted them into the power strip. I can understand they need to be secure in case it is mounted on a wall or upsidedown but a warning on the box would be helpful so the user knows to expect that. Overall I am satisfied with the amount of outlets and length of the cord. It has a clean understated look and I think it will serve its purpose well.

great surge protection option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I was a bit concerned that I wouldn't love this surge protector strip because it seemed quite a bit larger than other ones I've used that also have eight outlets... but I was definitely wrong! First off I compared and this is only very slightly bigger than other similar surge protectors that I have. This surge protector specifically spaces out four of its eight outlets to deal with those pesky larger plugs that never quite fit in on those other power strips - which I have found to be incredibly helpful and is my favorite part of the whole thing. I love that the power cord is 6' long (perfect length for my needs) and that the button to turn it on/off is large and easy to press (but not so easy that it accidentally gets pushed). I also really like that there are indicators that display whether or not your electronics are actually protected. I think the only thing that could improve this fabulous device is the addition of a handful of places to plug in USB and USB-C cords (without requiring a power block); however it's still VERY useful and I really like it even without that - it would just take this from a 9/10 to a 10/10. Overall I am really loving it and especially how much room there is for larger power blocks. I love knowing my devices are protected with with this fabulous Staples surge protector!

More outlets wouldn’t hurt but the current number of outlets was sufficient and it’s able to accommodate various forms of plugs. I used it to power white noise machines gaming consoles network equipment TV tablets and phones. I appreciated the thinness of the power strip so that it can fit behind a wall mounted TV and hide the cables. The cable length of the power strip was plenty as well and I like that the plug is flat. I can see myself continuing to use this power strip and I would recommend it to others.

Good multi use power strip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a solid power strip. I like the length of the cord and the fact that the outlets are different at the end so you can configure different types of plugs. Typical power strips just have two lines of outlets straight down each side making it difficult for different size plugs or you end up not being able to use all the plugs. That’s not as issue with this power strip. My husband has used this for his power tools that take batteries. Just like each one has its different batteries they have different plug ends but that’s no problem with this power strip and he was able to plug in everything. We also liked how the plug on the power strip was flat so I could easily go behind furniture or a tool bench.

Saving space

I recently moved my couch over our most accessible outlet and needed something that would make it easier to plug in our phones and laptops without having to move the couch away from the wall. This is great! I was able to plug it in and scoot the couch back and run the power strip under the couch for our easy access. Thank you Stellar Panel for picking me to review this! It was perfect!
