To try in laminate smaller items like pictures the machine eats it up. Crumples it then you have to get out the clothes iron and try to fix the mess the laminator left you with. I would not recommend this to anyone that I know .

The label claims this takes 3 and 5 ml plastic but it is at best second rate adhesion with the 3 ml and it literally ate two items I tried to laminate with the 5 ml and there is no way to remove the ruined items. I am returning it tomorrow. It ruined a project I was working on.

The Staples Thermal & Cold Laminator is perfect in size and capabilities for the small office. This is for the one off type of job where you need to protect documents from spills tears and overall general abuse paper takes in an office. It’s great for laminating MSDS job instructions check sheets and small signs. Great price easy to use dependable and very useful around the small office/shop.

Slowly my apartment turning into a Mini Staples. This terrific little laminator is helping me get through certification and make flashcards that I can’t destroy by spilling some thing on. I’ve always wanted one but this was the opportunity to get one at a lowest cost
