I have used it several times this month and was very pleased with the results. All of my uses so far were for thermal laminating. I was a little disappointed that the directions didn't offer more info regarding COLD laminating but there is an 800# which I will use at sometime for my questions re. Cold laminating.

It doesn’t take very long to heat up. If you use it too long it does have an auto shut off after a few minutes. Use this for school and it’s fantastic.

I found the laminator easy to use. I was doing 8 1/2 x 11 sheets. I hope when I have to do smaller pouches that it's just as easy.

To try in laminate smaller items like pictures the machine eats it up. Crumples it then you have to get out the clothes iron and try to fix the mess the laminator left you with. I would not recommend this to anyone that I know .
