Wow!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received two of these for free. As a teacher, I use this to laminate flash cards and visual cues for my ESOL students. I'm excited to be able to use these materials over and over again each year since they are protected! It functioned wonderfully and exceeded my expectations.

After trying the Scotch Thermal Laminator I was extremely amazed at how easy it was to use. Not only was I satisfied with the simplicity of the Scotch Thermal Laminator I was also satisfied with how good it worked and the size of it. It fits perfectly on my desk without taking up to much space. I will definitely be recommending this product to all my friends and family.

TL902 Scotch™ Thermal Laminator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the TL902 Scotch™ Thermal Laminator free for me to try from ChatterBox. I was impressed that the laminator has two heat settings one for 3mil and 5mil thicknesses. It took a couple minutes to heat up after turning the unit on but the lamination process was quick when running the items through the laminator. The end result was smooth, sturdy, and eventually laminated. For a very affordablely priced laminator, the TL902 Scotch™ Thermal Laminator produced very satisfying results. The unit's tray also folds up and the cord has a hideaway, which makes for a compact and easy storage.

Amazing and Convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Scotch laminator! I was chosen by Scotch to try the product for free. I have loved using it for the past 2 weeks. While all of the teachers are busy waiting for their projects to get laminated, I can do mine at the comfort of my desk. I can even pack up the machine and easily finish a project at home. It has completely changed the way I do things in my classroom. I would HIGHLY recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my Scotch laminator for all sorts of classroom projects. It is easy to use and every project that I complete turns out perfect. The laminating pouches are easy to use. I am able to quickly put a piece of paper in the pouch, slide it in the laminator machine and voila! I have already created centers for my students to use and signs for my classroom as well.

Everything a homeschooling mom could want!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with Scotch products, and this laminator does not disappoint. I was ecstatic when I was chosen to test their home laminator. The TL902 is a perfect compact size for taking to co-op, keeping on a desk, or even storing on the shelf for when it is needed. The plug and play of the laminator makes it simple to use, and the different heat settings are perfect for when you need to laminate thicker items. As a homeschooling mom many times I need something laminated quick and I don't want to run to the office shop to have it done. Now I can grab the laminator and have it plugged in, warmed up, and laminated in less time than it would take to grab my keys and attempt to start herding children out the door. As a result I am laminating more than I normally would. Best of all, the Scotch Laminator and pouches are affordable.
Be careful if you purchase one; once you use it you will want to laminate all the things.
A few cons. Sometimes the sheets feed crooked, there really isn't a great way to stop that. The sheet feed guides are flimsy and slide around easy; they don't stay where you put them. There is no auto off. I suppose I shouldn't expect that in an economy machine. The lights on mine are not fully illuminated when the option is selected; they are partially illuminated all the time. When the option is selected it is illuminated more than it was; however, not as I would expect it to be. I would expect the whole circle around the selection to be lit, and the other option to not be lit; even the power button has only partial luminosity. With the Scotch Brand Pouches I always use the 5 mil setting and then often run it through a second time to make certain I get a good seal.
Overall I would certainly recommend this laminator to everyone as a good everyday laminator to have for quick small jobs.

As a homeschool mom, all school supplies/books/etc. are purchased by me for my children, I don't get any funding to help with that. I have wanted a laminator for some time, but have not purchased one. I was thrilled to receive one from Chatterbox, and I was able to give the other one to another homeschool mom friend! This will make projects a breeze, and will make many of our items reusable for another child for multiple years! Heats up quickly and is so easy to use! Thank you, I love my new laminator!
