[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free Scott Thermal Laminator as part of a Chatterbox party pack. I also received one to give to an educator. I've tried my laminator with a few projects my son and I have worked on at home and I love how easy this laminator is to use! The projects we did came out great. We made charts (a potty chart) and we laminated some of his best art projects. I'm a school counselor and I plan to give the second laminator to a teacher at the elementary school I work for. They will LOVE it also!

So many times we as teacher have these huge laminators and have no idea how to use them. This was easy to load easy to operate and super fast and efficient. I received the product for Free and gave it to one of our lucky teachers at our school, they were so happy

But with the Scotch Thermal Laminator it was one pass and perfect!! Thank you so much to Chatterbox for allowing me the chance to test this wonderful product. I am also passing the additional one off to a friend that just began her teaching career.

Simple To Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How great is Scotch for giving us a product that is easy to use, easy to store, and priced so nice? Pretty awesome is the only answer. I was so happy this was such a simple device, as I can be awkward around anything the least bit technical. It can be used for projects big or small in size or quantity. The applications are endless in projects and ideas for use. I laminated ID sized documents and also some of my son's artwork from years ago and they all turned out great. The Laminator Pack Refills are very affordable. I didn't realize how useful a laminator could be, I was lucky enough to get to try this free compliments of Scotch & Chatterbox.

I LOVE my TL902 Scotch Thermal Laminator!!

So let's just say this is such an amazing product that i dont think i could now live without! Within minutes of receiving i had my kids important documents protected and safe! This TL902 #ThermalScotchLaminator is hands down amazing! Shipping was quick ! The laminator was packaged very nice and was sure to be safe and sound as it was protected and packaged very well! Upon opening it was very easy to get out.It was very light weight ,not very big so its easy to store ! also super Easy to set up, just make sure it's on a flat surface and plug it in ,choose what size paper your using ,adjust the width and wait a couple minutes for the light to turn from red to blue! I then put my paper in the laminating pouch put it in the machine feeding the closed end first so it gets all the air out and seals correctly and bam within seconds my document was protected and waterproof and safe! After it came out my sheet was cool to touch ! The machine was VERY quiet it didn't disturb my sleeping newborn at all! I did a about 6 documents one right after another and they all came out PERFECT! There's soo much to laminate its So fun and easy and helps me organize and protect our stuff! So in my opinion it does exactly what its suppose to do without any problems
Couple of things new users need to keep In mind: with the very first use there was a weird smell but it went away after first use and its a brand new machine so it was definitely expected and didn't affect anything and the smell DID go away and didn't come back !
Also the machine does take a bit to cool down so make sure to keep it up and out until its completely cooled but its something that's very do able and that i have no issues with having to do because it works so so amazing!
Last but not least i wish the stores carried more of a variety of the laminating sheets sizes:( The stores by me had only one size and i still haven't been able to find the sizes i need and ive drove to 4 diff stores in my area but this issue will vary by locations !
Also the machine does take a bit to cool down so make sure to keep it up and out until its completely cooled but its something that's very do able and that i have no issues with having to do because it works so so amazing!

Other than those tiny issues this is definitely a product worth getting that you will use alot! Here is a TINY bit of the never ending list of things it can be used for!
Kids stuff, school / work calendars bookmarks,craft's,learning materials,charts,tracing charts,decor,important documents, letters, those precious kid drawings , family / school /misc photos, back pack/ lunch bag tags , storage labels organizing tags ,seasonal clothes labels! kids cubby tags ,kids id cards,abc/123 books, rewritable/wipeable charts/ books for kiddos,recipe cards,important contact info and medication dosage sheets , car / home/ life insurance paper's , to do/chore charts, wipeable shopping list ,baby shower/birthday party /potluck / work/ football party tags to label the different foods and even who brought them and whats in them!! parent/kid/babysitter schedule, newborn (changed/fed/sleep charts im telling ya the ideas are literally ENDLESS !! and im sure you will enjoy it as much maybe even more than i do!
