Disappointing

My Scotch Laminator caught on fire I had just plugged it in and it immediately began making spark sounds, then smoke started to come out. When I looked at it I could see fire inside the laminator and immediately turned it off. Before this my laminator was not passing the sheets to be lamintated and I had to give it a few attempts before it feed through the laminator.

Dead after 3 uses

I purchased this product last year and have only used it 3 times for light jobs. Today red lights are on and it will not heat up It don't make sense for it to already be broken. Very disappointing for what I paid for this product.

Flimsy design

The small pin that hold the paper feed broke on the first use. The laminator works great, but without a properly functioning feeder tray, I have to be careful or I get crooked or wrinkled laminated work. I have wasted time and money trying to make this work properly. Not worth it.

Broken easily, but does laminate

I have used this laminator in a pre-school setting, so I got one for myself. As lamination goes, it suits my needs, however the feeding tray did not hold up. I have laminated very few things around the house, I always pack the machine back in its factory box with factory packing. To say I am careful with my belongings would be an understatement...and yet, the tiny plastic tab that holds the entirety of the feeding mechanism broke anyway. This is a very serious design flaw, and at the very least I should be able to come to the website and order a replacement part as this is a known failure point. I would have given the product 5 stars had 1) the part not broken or 2) an affordable replacement part was easily orderable from your website. As neither of those 2 options were available-I'm holding at 3 stars.

Stopped working after a few uses

Used a few times several months apart and then all of a sudden the motor stopped working and the laminating paper will not move through. Very disappointed since the machine looks brand new and has been barely used. Please give me a refund or send me a better replacement.

Do not buy this product

Used the machine twice worked perfectly, tried to do a third page and the motor stopped working. Will not advance the paper through. It is so disappointing and I will not buy another laminator from this company again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fabulous little thing 🤗

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this laminator! It's so light and easy to use! Very quick and efficient! Great seal on the finished product. The first thing I put through was cardstock and there were no bumps or bubbles and it heated very evenly - flawless finish!
MISSING A because the back or entry tray area is a little cumbersome and poorly designed/made. It's easily stuck and the "input tray guides" keep coming off track as I open and close the tray. Kind of {REALLY} annoying. BUT an easy fix.
Overall great product! I would recommend for home projects for sure!

i have payed over and over and it never lasts more then 3 mothe y use this for my home job and its so sad that i have bout more then 5 because it the only one i can get en Puerto rico!!
