Fun and easy way to protect documents

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TL902 Scotch Thermal Laminator was incredibly easy to use right out of the box. The simple, sleek and attractive design was intuitive and looks great sitting on my desk. There are only a few commands to understand, so it's really easy to know what you need to do. I read through the instructions once the first time, just because I didn't want to break things (as I'm known to do!) but overall it's actually sort of hard to break this thing, I'm sure.
I will say that it takes a bit of time to warm up the laminator. You have to wait for the ready light to turn on to know when it's ready, so that's handy. I was a bit worried I might break the fold-out dispenser but I figured it out after some gentle bending.
So far, I've laminated and now protected several DIY flashcards for my soon-to-be kindergartner, some blind bag flyers my kids refuse to throw away (that have been folded, torn and taped over), and created a family photobook for my niece who lives in another state.
I would recommend this laminator for any DIY'er, teachers or anyone who works with kids and people who like to keep & protect documents.

Scotch laminator: Teacher and crafter's best frien

Can not wait to use this for my next laminating project! I received this laminator as part of a free chat pack.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a Scotch laminator in my life for ten years now...but my original was getting a little sad...the slant board/feeder tray was broken, and then lost, and then it started making some crazy noises and occasionally eating the laminating sheets...but to be fair, I had used it in 4 different classrooms in two different states for many school projects, banners, passes, magnets, etc...
Enter the newly updated laminator - which I was lucky enough to be able to try for free in a Chat Pack in exchange for this review - I LOVE IT!!! The cord gets wrapped up underneath the machine!!! The feeder tray folds down and away when not needed!!! yessss!!!! The new machine is lovingly set on my shelf right next to my desk at school, while the old one has been retired to my own children at home! I also gifted another free laminator to my friend down the hall - she is ECSTATIC not to have to borrow mine anymore!!
In addition to things like grading scales, dry erase worksheets, growth mindset posters, permanent passes and bag tags, I also love my Scotch laminator for personalized door magnets and decorations on cruises or other Disney destinations!

This machine rocks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband took some papers to work with him to laminate for me awhile ago, I wanted sheets for my sons speech practice laminated....he brought them home and they had a plastic covering....but they were super flimsy, not sturdy at all, not what I had hoped but they had plastic on them so, we moved on. Fast forward to now when the Scotch laminator entered my life, I did receive it for free but this opinion is totally true....this machine is the BOMB. It's super fun to use and watch it do its magic, the sheets come out as hard plastic (which is what I hoped for!) and within seconds my items are done! The only problem I have is I may become addicted to laminating things!! Highly recommend this.

Amazing tool for my homeschool!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this laminator! Its light weight and portable so i can move it with ease! The laminator heated up with in a few minutes and ot was ready to go. It was able to keel up woth my hughe pile of papers i needed laminated and it never lost its heat or was uneven with its temperature! I laminated my husbands awards and certifications for work. My kids art work and flash cards for school! Thank you scotch for this amazing product and for sponsoring me! I got to try it for free!!! This laminator is a must have and now a staple in my home!!
