Awesome Laminator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laminator is very user friendly! I love that it heats up quickly, and it creates a very tight seal around the laminated product. I would definitely recommend this product to educators and to crafty people. I am exited to laminate my children's artwork among tons of other things! I am glad that I was selected to try this product for free, I am also excited to gift the second one to a kindergarten teacher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laminator is amazing, especially for it's size! The heating process of the laminator is quick and easy, the lamination is smooth and on point! The best part is it's easy to travel with and take anywhere. I have my stack of laminating ready to go, just in time for the long weekend!

Excellent personal-use laminator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love office supplies, so getting my own personal laminator was a dream come true. For a personal-use laminator, I'm not sure you could get much better.
I am impressed by how thick the laminated paper becomes. It feels professionally done, and unlike anything I've used in the past in my years as a classroom teacher. The finished product is very stiff, enabling me to easily use dry erase markers on things like a household chores checklist or letter writing practice sheets for my kids. I've also used them as covers for homemade planners and notebooks. I know that because of their quality, they will stand up well to repeated use.
The instructions that come with the unit are very straight forward, and the unit displays are easy to read. The "ready" light is very bright, so there is no confusion as to when laminating can begin. And again, despite the pouches being thin prior to laminating, they come out so thick and stiff!
The unit takes a few minutes to warm up, so make sure to factor that in when you are getting ready to laminate something. I was impatient the first time I used it and sent it through before the blue light came on. Any unsealed portions were fixed by running it through the fully-warmed-up unit again.
The only negative I see right now is that the dry erase markers I use do not completely erase off the laminated surface. There is a very faint smear left behind. However, because of the quality of the laminated product, I have no worries about using a liquid dry erase board cleaner to remove the smears.
If you are looking for a personal-use laminator, whether for your home or office or classroom, I highly recommend the TL902 Scotch™ Thermal Laminator.

Former teacher who LOVES to laminate!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a former teacher. I LOVED to laminate just about anything that got used in my classroom. The Scotch Thermal TL902 Laminator was the perfect product for me to try out. It is very easy to use, and I like that you can use 2 different thicknesses of laminate for various projects you may have. I also love the release feature. Let's face it....mistakes happen and things get jammed. This makes it easy to try to save our project before it gets completely ruined! I have laminated LEGO directions, my kids school certificates, board game directions (we all know how torn up those can get!), special cards and letters from my kids, and labels for buckets in the play room! The possibilities are endless. I definitely would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a laminator. I received a free Chat Pack with a free laminator, in return for my honest opinion. These are my own thoughts regarding this product. I really do not think you will be disappointed in it!

Good little machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an older laminating machine that took like 5 minutes to warm up. I assumed that this machine would warm up quicker but I was wrong. It took about the same time. Also, the lights on the 3mm and 5mm buttons are not solid at all so it's hard to know if one or the other is pressed. I do, however, like the guides that help bring down the pouches and like that each pouch feeds through quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this free from HouseParty chat pack and I have never been more proud and excited. This product is lightweight and very powerful and portable. It is so simple to use that literally my 3 year old nephew explains to his classmates how the teacher is to operate it because I gave his special Ed class the second one and I know they use it daily with no problems or issues. The laminator sheets are really easy to insert and use. The overall design 8s very impressive and I have laminated everything in sight.
