Convenient and Easy to Use–A Homeschooling Must

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a homeschooling mother, I cannot stress how convenient it is to own a laminator. Our old laminator is also from Scotch, so I've always appreciated this trusted brand. The new TL902 Thermal Laminator is just as wonderful with an additional feature that I really like. The one thing that my previous laminator didn't have was a guide, which this one actually includes. The guide is especially helpful when feeding the lamenting sheets, since there are adjustable tabs to help prevent the sheets from feeding in crooked. Even though I enjoyed my previous laminator, with this one I don't have to worry if my pages are going to feed in lopsided. This feature is also nice for different size projects, because you can move the tabs down to your preferred width.
It's also really simple to use. You turn it on, and choose the desired thickness (3mm or 5mm), depending on what type of laminating sheets you're using. The unit takes only a couple of minutes to heat up and there is an indicator light to let you know when it's ready to be used. The Scotch sheets are really convenient to have. The top portion is already close off with a top and bottom sheet, so you just insert your items and close the sheets together. Slip that sheet into the laminator and it will automatically pull it in and feed it out the other end–so simple and such a handy tool to have whether for tons of different reasons!
Having one of these around is especially helpful for younger children. I teach a preschooler, and have been putting together all kinds of flash cards and learning charts for my little one, just in time for the new school year. My favorite use for this is for creating dry erase pages for handwriting practice. Having the handwriting sheets laminated allows me to easily wipe them clean for reuse, which is both convenient and eliminates wasted paper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a mom AND an educator. I was super excited to get the chance to try out the Scotch TL902 Scotch Thermal Laminator. I was selected as a house party host in order to review the Scotch TL902 Scotch Thermal Laminator and offer an opportunity for a fellow educator to try it out.
As a mom there are so many projects that I would love to laminate around the house: knitting patterns, recipes, flashcards for my 3 year old. I LOVE that the Scotch TL902 Scotch Thermal Laminator is light weight and has a slim design that I carried to different areas of my house and tucked away when not in use. The feed was smooth and easy to use.
As an educator I have to be careful no to wear it out :o) Everything from hall passes, to flash cards for my students to creating reusable handwriting worksheets. This was the perfect new school year addition to take care of all the little projects that gave items/ papers in my school office that extra protection, and again the light weight and slim design keep from adding to the clutter around my school workspace.
This is a great addition to my home and school craft supplies!

So Easy, A Toddler Can Work It

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this laminator in a free #ChatPack. Today we took it to playgroup to test it out, the kids making cute placemats. I didn't have much experience with laminators at all, so I wasn't sure how it'd go. I took it out of the package, plugged it in, turned it on to heat up (which takes a few minutes). Except for another mommy and me struggling for a few seconds to figure out the tray (it's really easy, I promise; we were overthinking it), I can't believe how simple it is. With supervision, a toddler really CAN completely operate it himself. Each kid happily inserted her placemat and watched in awe as it came out the front sealed. We used some 3D materials like pressed flowers, and still any wrinkles or bubbles were minimal. There is an odor, as one would expect from heating plastic, so it's probably best to use somewhere that's reasonably ventilated. That shouldn't be hard, though, since it is very compact and lightweight (so very portable). I would recommend it.

Compact and easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a home laminator before but this Scotch Thermal Laminator folds up nice and compact for storage. I really love the fold up feed tray and cord storage location. It's so easy to put an item into the laminator pouch and send it through the laminator. It heats up pretty quickly and the papers come out with out wrinkles. I received this as apart of Chatterbox package from Scotch. I'm loving using it for my home and mucus class projects.
