Feed Tray Issues

I bought this about 3 months ago and have only used it 3-4 times. The clips that hold the feed tray up broke so it makes it difficult to feed your items to be laminated into the laminator. This becomes frustrating when the items you are laminating are sliding around inside the laminating thermal as its feeding into the laminator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After roughly 6 months, and very limited use, the unit quit working, will not turn on. It has been plugged into the same surge protector as my computer, so I don't think that is the issue.

Lamination Love

I got my Scotch laminator about two years ago, and use it all the time! I make medication cards for Hubs and I to carry our own and each others' in our wallets, plus emergency contact numbers and our doctor's name and numbers. In case of an accident, or to show at the doctor's office, they are invaluable. (Keep one on a fridge magnet, too, for EMS!) I laminate all my scrap-booked recipe cards! I worked hard to create them, so I want them protected from spills and splashes. The one pictured has instructions on the font and the back so I don't have to look up separate recipes to make that dish. I laminate instructions for things that I need to have around frequently, like a list of hurricane necessities. I laminate our car insurance card so it doesn't get crumpled in the glove compartment. Important documents, pictures, newspaper clippings (lamination keeps them from aging badly) and any paper (and sometimes fabric!) that I want protected from life's roughness gets sent through my laminator. Save your grandmother's recipes, letters from a loved one, and so much more with this incredibly useful tool! (Just don't do valuable letters from George Washington - it would destroy the value!) Laminate a small calendar, then use a wipe-off ink to mark important dates. I love that it has a handle to carry it with, as I do move it around sometimes, and I made a pretty cover for it so it won't collect dust when I'm not using it. I put it on a 3-drawer wood chest that holds my laminating supplies, and created a "Lamination Station". .

Not long lasting

Bought it about a year ago and have used it off and on for various projects. I tried to use it today but it's not working. I plugged it in, the lights came on for a second then go out. Returning it today.

Bad!!

I bought this laminator today and can't even use it to laminate. I do one sheet and it comes out great and the second sheet comes out crooked and wrinkled. Have to give the machine at least a 15 minute break!! Horrible product!!! Very disappointed in this product!!

We have had this for just over a year and have laminated about 10 to 15 items and now the laminator comes on heats up but immediately shuts off. NO, ready light, NO green light absolutely NOTHING. 3M makes better products than this! I have been such a happy customer with 3M products, but this laminator is junk.

Curling concerns

I bought the TL902 for work and home projects. I like the machine overall, light weight, easily stores; but, unable to control the quality consistency of the laminated pages. When working on multiple projects, during the same session, a couple of the pages will laminate perfectly, then suddenly, the next page(s) will come out curled on the left-hand side. Even though I am intentional about the placement of each sheet I always have several pages curled, which wastes pouches and time reproducing pages.

It stopped warming up!

I purchased this product as my 2019 Christmas present and had been using it regularly till this winter. I tried to laminate our Covid-19 vaccination cards and it will not warm up! Everything works but the heaters. Is there a better laminator available?
