I bought this laminator 4 months ago, used it one time and then it stopped working. It no longer heats up at all. Very disappointed. Will never buy this brand of laminators again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worked twice and now it just ruins my photos :(

I have had this for a few months and have used it a couple of times with great results. Now it won't pull anything thru and mangles my photos for a project I am working on. I see there are others who are having the same issues as I am. The tray in back keeps dropping as well and is not big enough to support and 8 1/2 x 11 sheet laminating pouch.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My first but not my last

I originally purchase this laminator for use at home for craft type projects. I have ended up using it for my travel business. I am a travel agent and found it perfect for luggage tags & more. I look forward to using more of your products in the future.

Disappointed

I know several people that have this laminator and theirs works great. Mine, not so much. The pages keep getting caught up on the left side of the machine, ruining anything I've tried to run through it. I'm planning to return it soon. I see another review with the same problem, so apparently it isn't an isolated issue.

Will return

I bought this product to laminate items for my tutoring business. I will be returning it. Although the end result was good, the feeder tray was not long enough to position the document without it sliding around before it was gripped by the rollers. The tray folded into the back of the machine for storage. The storage concept was good; however, the tray was flimsy and difficult to reposition. I question the longevity of the tray. Therefore, I am returning the laminator.

Jams every time

I bought this today to use for my classroom. Every time that I print a full sheet, the left side hangs up and jams. I have ruined several items already. When I print smaller sizes, it does not have that problem. It is just the left edge of the full size. I will be taking this back monday morning. Not happy.

Size and Portability

I am a very busy Preschool Teacher in the search for tools that are helpful, easy to set up and portable. When I finally came across the Scotch Thermal Laminator 9" as soon as I lifted from the store's shelf I knew I had found the one. It might sound overly dramatic for you but fellow teachers all ages can understand the need for products that are 100% satisfactory and in my case easy to travel with. Now I can start a project at home for my class (tracing practice, dry-erase boards, name cards, etc your creativity is the limit) and take it the next morning with me. I love how light this is! the only thing I wish to make this laminator even better is that it could be able to laminate up to 12" wide but you know... only a dream for know.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent laminator!

I bought this laminator with my classroom budget. I am a Kindergarten Special Ed teacher and laminate often. I have another brand laminator that I had purchased previously to use at home. The Scotch laminator is superior to the other one. Items feed well, the tray helps to keep the laminating project in line. With my other laminator, I sometimes have to put the project back through up to 3 times. With the Scotch laminator, it's one and done! I prefer to laminate at home, so when I have a lot to do, I bring the Scotch home in its box with the handy carrying handle!
I would recommend this to a friend!
