Entry Tray is too short.

Laminating several small items in a 8x11 sheet is hard... Last section of sheet falls out...
If Feed Tray was 8"x11" size... I would give this 5 stars

TL902 Laminator

I bought this laminator for home use based on the number of positive reviews. I tried to use it for the first time this morning - May 16, 2020 - and the machine won’t grab the laminating pouch and take it through the machine. I wasted 30 minutes trying to make this work. I used commercial laminators for 30 years at my job. Never had one problem. The instructions are very simple and I don’t think I’m so stupid that I can’t understand them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broke after 7 weeks :(

I purchased this item for my special education classroom because we laminate things often for our students. It worked so well for a while and we were thrilled! It wouldn't turn on this morning and we are so bummed! We tried different outlets and nothing. :(

Worked good for couple months

I bought this back in December and it started smoking once I plugged it in around February. Worked great while it did but for such a little time. Kind of disappointed.

Worked fine until it did not work

Bought Feb 2021. Stopped working May 2021. Unfortunately, after the 30 day warranty. This is what it is doing--turns on and seems to heat up. Then shuts down on its own and will not turn on again until the unit cools down. Then repeats.

Easy to use but the tray breaks easily

I bought this laminator one year ago and the feed tray already broke. The tray folds for storage but it is difficult to get into place for use and broke easily. I love everything else about the laminator but the tray is definitely the weak link. Disappointed with the quality of the tray which once broken makes the laminator much harder to use. Plus, as far as I can tell you can't get a replacement tray.

Flimsy design

The small pin that hold the paper feed broke on the first use. The laminator works great, but without a properly functioning feeder tray, I have to be careful or I get crooked or wrinkled laminated work. I have wasted time and money trying to make this work properly. Not worth it.

Disappointing
on August 5, 2023

My Scotch Laminator caught on fire I had just plugged it in and it immediately began making spark sounds, then smoke started to come out. When I looked at it I could see fire inside the laminator and immediately turned it off. Before this my laminator was not passing the sheets to be lamintated and I had to give it a few attempts before it feed through the laminator.
