Hands down the best for your money

I've got through 5 different iceakers after the iceaker on my new Samsung fridge keeps freezing and getting stuck. Yes this GE ice maker is a little expensive but then you get what you pay for. So far this ice maker has provided my family with the much needed ice daily. The texture of the ice is like the ice you get from sonic drive in. The best ice hands down. Thank you so much for designing a perfect home ice maker.

Great small ice maker for daily use.

I did not know that you could keep the ice maker going around the clock. I thought it was just for special occasions. We have not stopped it from making ice for two weeks since we bought it. The noise complaints by others are unwarranted. It is not very noisy at all.

I have been completely pleased with my OPAL. It does everything it is suppose to do. I have had NO ISSUES with it and I have had it for approximately 9 months now.

My wife realllllly wanted this as a Christmas gift. I was struggling to see why I'd spend so much money for an ice maker, but now I get it. We don't have an automatic ice maker in our freezer, so we've primarily been using "manual" ice-making trays. It's a pain and we never have enough when we have guests over. This machine allows us to have plenty of ice for guests and she enjoys chewing on it during the day in addition to being ready for drinks. It's quiet and thus far, has been a set it and forget it machine.

I absolutely love this jewel. I’ve had every other ice maker out there and have been disappointed with them all. Either they quit working or need to be filled after 2 glasses or some other issue but my new GE is perfect. Perfect nuggets perfect water storage perfect look it’s simply perfect and I love it.

Great appliance...doesn't require a lot of space and remarkably quiet considering this has a compressor. Minor hiccup with creating schedule (you have to set the timezone).
