Yes, it makes a slight bit of noise. Nothing I can hear over my 15 mo old, for sure. This baby makes the good good ice, though. Spend less at Sonic, get yo’self one!

Despite the astronomical price for an ice maker and the overall weight and size of the machine, this makes the best, crunchiest ice ever. The ice is so good it’s like a snack.

I’ve been wanting this machine for over 3 years, but just couldn’t justify the $$$. Finally made the decision and can’t believe I waited so long. We have been purchasing sonic ice bags 6 at a time for years. Will definitely save me money and will pay for itself before long. Yes, I’m addicted. Even my husband makes a comment every day how much he loves this ice. Everything positive and loving it so far. Don’t hesitate to buy.

Perfect ice

This truly makes the perfect place! I love the timer but I can set so that I can have ice ready for myself before I wake up and just before I get home from work. It never sticks together, and it’s quick to make ice. My husband thought it was overpriced until he started using it. He now agrees with me that it’s worth every penny. The online app to control it needs to be improved, but the overall device is absolutely wonderful!

Great Look, Perfect for Home Bar

Perfect sized ice pellets (the crunchy type), the unit itself is sleek and stylish - looks great on my modern home bar. The unit makes plenty of ice. My only complaint is the water dribble when opening the ice drawer.

I was given this as a birthday gift from my husband because he knows how much I love the "good ice!" Works well. Ice in "20 minutes" is a bit of a stretch...you will totally have ice in 20mins but not a glass full or enough to serve. It takes a good hour or more to fill the tub and its a bit noisy, But it does get the job done! I am so thrilled to have it!
