Leaks to much

Love the ice but when you get ice out it leaks to much from the ice bin

Hi - While we delighted to hear you love your new icemaker, we are sorry you are having issues with water leaking when you pull the bin out to get ice. During normal operation, condensation forms on the bottom surface of the ice bin. This water will sometimes collect and drip down the lower front surfaces of the ice maker. If you have not already done so, please install the drip tray included with your icemaker. great ice but very noisy

We love the ice but it is very noise sounds like loose parts internal that are vibrating during ice making cycle. When it first starts to make ice it flushes the system with water but the water drains into the ice hopper melting the already made ice down rather quickly against the back of the hopper. Since the hopper is not refrigerated all the ice you can have matters .

I sent this back after a week. Did not make the ice it was suppose to make. It was mostly snow cone ice and melted. Not worth the price and got me a way cheaper ice maker that is working great. Not worth it

Easy to use. Makes perfect ice!

I’ve wanted one of these for so long but the price held me back. I’m so glad I finally splurged. The machine is super easy to set up. We were making ice in less than 30 minutes. The GOOD ice! Our whole family uses it throughout the day and the bin is always full for the next use. If you’re on the fence just get it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

One of our favorite features (other than the fact that it makes delicious, chewy ice) is that you'll never run out of nugget ice thanks to the large capacity that makes one pound of fresh ice per hour and that it holds up to 48 ounces of ice at a time!

Noisy and Loose Back Panel

The machine makes great ice, which we love. However, it is really noisy, loader than a TV. When pressing the back panel the noise immediately lowers to a quiet buzz. Would not buy again.

Flaw with ice bin - WiFi a stupid idea.

Ice maker is working fine.
I have not had any issues with its ice production since 3/27/2022.

Now, the issue I am having is with the removable ice bin. Water gets between the two layers of plastic at the front of the ice bin and you cant get it out. You can see the soapy water in the images I have included in this review. I will be contacting GE and telling them they need to send me a replacement ice bin.
An ice maker having WiFi is a stupid idea. There is zero benefit to having this.
The WiFi also forgets all your network information if you turn it off and then on again. Have to do the setup again. I will never enable WiFi again on this. It it pointless.
Instead of including WiFi, engineering time and effort should have been put into a cleaning reminder on the front panel display.
