Cleaning

The ice maker is great in concept size and quality, but having to clean the system monthly at a minimum is a pain. I’ve never had an issue with a built in refrigerator ice maker. The cleaning issue is the sensors. I’m not sure I would buy again

To keep nugget ice tasting fresh and ice maker performing properly, descaling/sanitizing is highly recommended. We have provided some cleaning instructions for this unit on page 7 of the Owner's Manual at the link below.

Very nice product. Makes really nice ice. As far as noise, the ice making is not loud, but at time it starts to squeal which is very annoying.

We would like to provide some clarification regarding the squeal sound your unit is producing. It is normal for the unit to make this sound as ice begins to build up around the internal mechanisms. This typically occurs before or during the defrost cycle. Please note that the unit features an automatic defrost cycle, which usually takes about 10 to 20 minutes to complete. Once the defrost cycle finishes, the squealing sound will stop.

It is ok. Quickly makes ice , but randomly turns itself off and then there is no ice.

I love this thing I make my own iced coffees and redbulls at home and this ice is the cherry on top. Seriously best purchase no regrets. Only took one star because i have the older version so doesnt have the drip tray and scoop holder like the new upgrade version

This is a all around awesome nugget ice maker. Perfect size,the installation is very simple,very very low noise and excellent production on the machine. Big capacity for the ice and the side tank pairs perfectly with it. Excellent item. Its a must have for all you nugget ice loving people. Well deserved 5 stars
