We love our Opal 2.0! Ice production is fast, capacity is more than enough when we have friends over for cocktails. Nugget ice from this machine is SO much better than cubed ice! Highly recommend the GE Opal 2.0!

Perfect nugget ice!

Hands down one of the best GE products we’ve purchased. I love nugget ice and this machine keeps up with the amount I use. Great capacity, decent size and production keeps up with a family of 4. Noise is a bit louder than expected but not terrible. Easy installation however used vinegar not bleach to clean it as we have sensitivity to bleach. Fits right on our counter and the hight is below our top cabinet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is not a good product. I have had numerous issues with it. I use distilled water. From noises to not moving water. The process of getting anything done to resolve issues is rediculous. DO NOT waste your money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When water isn't flowing from the side tank, this usually indicates an air bubble in the water line. We recommend checking that the hose is securely connected, you can also lift the unit 4 to 5 inches until you notice the water flowing.
We do see that you have a case open with our support team. If you are still experiencing issues, we recommend continuing to work with us for a resolution.

Doesn't work right

It doesn't work properly and thinking about taking it back to the store. It doesn't pull water from the side take. Very frustrated with it.

Amazing Ice!!! Wife and kids love it

This unit works way better than the 1.0 version. The last one was extremely noisy and had so many issues. We now only use distilled water and haven’t had any issues other that air bubbles in the line after water gets too low. We use a turkey baster syringe-filled with water and shoot into the fill hole. Works amazing and don’t know what we would do without it. Our Profile fridge has an extremely small ice bin so we use to run out like crazy.
