Ice in a "Few"

We purchased this product to have ice maker on counter top rather than one in the refrigerator. It was pretty easy to install..took a bit of time to understand the process...but then pretty easy. It seems to be pretty quiet and was quick to produce useable ice. I like that I won't need to crush ice for my breakfast smoothies, as the ice produced is small enough for that. The capacity of the ice bin is enough for our family. We had to place the maker on the "island portion" of our counter as it was a smidge too tall to fit under the cupboards.

This is a fantastic ice maker! My daily life is better with this device in my life. I wish I had known about the intense maintenance involved before buying, but all in all a great product. The additional side tank is key.

Worth the money!

The set up was very easy. The production time was quick. The noise is minimal to none. I had another machine before and it was so loud you couldnt hear the television in the living room.

Sad GE don't last like they used to.

I love my ice maker, just sad that I've had it for 16 months and now it won't work. The water is full, but keeps saying add water on both making ice and cleaning.

Great ice maker! Easily maintained, easy installation, however cleaning process is long for the first use. Not noisy quietly makes ice in the background. Good size like the front drawer for ice. Holds a decent amount of Ice. Like the automatic feature of producing ice as it is used. Great product

The ice maker is easy to setup and use. This is the second one I’ve had and it seems a little quieter. They make the best ice for cocktails or any beverage

I loved this machine in the beginning. I clean it and descale it regularly. However after 18 months it wont stop making a screeching noise. I have purchased descalers, water filters, all of the recommended products and it wont stop making noise. GE needs to build this better and make it more cleaning friendly or provide a better warranty
