A bit bulky and takes up space, can be a bit noisy too. I love the ice production and the water circulation.

After 3 months Needs water light comes on when tank and side tank are full. I've unplugged it and replug it and sometimes it started working for a few days then need water light comes back on. It defective and you won't do anything about it. For what I paid for this it should have lasted longer than this. I won't buy another GE product again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased in December of 2024 and it already stopped working. Have cleaned as directed and only used at home with a small household. Love the ice but disappointed that we are already having issues with it not making ice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We love this ice unit, buts it’s only been a year and a few months and now the fan makes a loud squeaking noise and will not stop. Definitely the fan and it drives us crazy, that we turn it off when home. For the hi price we paid, very disappointed.

A full batch of ice melts/evaporates by up to 50% overnight at 71 degrees F and 55% RH. I’m awaiting my next electric bill to see if it consumes a lot of energy. Could use some noise reduction. Requires a fair amount of maintenance. Looks great on the counter.

Quickly makes ice.

Works great! It is the perfect size for my wife and I as we drink a lot of ice water. Makes ice fast but makes a high pitched sound sometimes when it is running. Sounds like a cat in pain.
