Chewable ice nuggets taste great in a drink or by themselves. Works great. Always have fresh ice on hand. I have family members that visit just to get a cup of ice!

This is a beautiful model that does offer great ice. We are pleased to hear you are happy with the ice. We recommend that you use the Opal's Connected feature, you can schedule when the Opal comes On and goes Off using the iOS or Android GE Profile Opal app. When the schedule is enabled, the Opal will check to see if it should be On or Off once every hour, at the top of the hour. If you manually turn your Opal On, but it is scheduled to be Off in the app, it will shut off the next time it checks the schedule. This will usually occur at the top of the hour. To fix this issue, go to your app and disable the schedule or unplug your Opal, wait a few seconds, then plug it back in. Thank you for your purchase. Enjoy your nugget ice!

It is too early to give a detailed review as we have just installed the ice maker today, but suffice it to say that it was easy to set up and it is already making ice just 15-20 minutes after finishing the set up. It makes a low humming noise, but not intrusive. It is attractive and does not feel "out of place" in our kitchen.
I would recommend this to a friend!
