The GE Profile Ice Nugget Machine has been an absolute game-changer in my kitchen! If you're someone who loves soft, chewable nugget ice (think restaurant-quality ice), this machine is a dream come true. It delivers perfectly-sized, crunchy nuggets that make every drink more refreshing.
Setup was a breeze, and it's surprisingly compact for what it delivers. The machine is fast, pumping out a large batch of ice in no time, so there's always plenty on hand, even for larger gatherings. I also love how quiet it runs—no more loud clunky noises while it's making ice.

Love this machine. Makes great ice. Using distilled water keeps the machine from having to be descaled. Still need to clean the machine from getting dirty.

As noted in other reviews, the unit can be noisy at times. But that is only for a few minutes, and not excessive. The machine makes fabulous ice, and enough for our busy household.

Opal ice machine is excellent. After have one before we choose to get a new one. We could not go back to regular ice cubes. Noticed nice added features with this model. We are hooked on having great ice anytime we want great ice.

This is such a nice appliance. Yes it is defiantly a niche product, but the the quality and taste of the ice if you buy the filter is amazing. We use our fridges filtered water pitcher to fill the side tank, then it gets filtered yet again by the ice machine. Crunchy, cool, and refreshing. 10/10 would recommend
