I purchased this ice maker on 12/4/23. As of 8/15/24 it's making an extremely loud banging noise and cannot be used. I use this ice maker heavily and was happy with it, until now. I descale it every 2-3 weeks so maintenance on my part isn't lacking. I'm currently attempting to contact GE support today 8/19/24, will update this review with the outcome.

Favorite small appliance - WHEN it’s working.

Best appliance in our house WHEN ITS WORKING. We are on our 3rd!!! We follow the rules. We clean it. We use only osmosis filtered water, and it still doesn’t work. First one lasted almost a year. Then the next two aren’t lasting a month.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great so far. Makes ice quickly. The bluetooth connectivity let's us know when it needs water or cleaned. Melted ice water is recycled and re-frozen into new ice. You can even set it to a schedule if you only need ice specific times.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We love this ice maker. This is the third one we have bought. The new 2.0 model is greatly improved. Can't beat crunchable ice.

I love the quality of the ice. I have had a couple of issues with the pump but have been able to fix the issue. Overall worth the cost.
