Best ice nugget machine, just doesn't last longe

By far the best nugget ice maker out there. My first one lasted just over a year. The second one only lasted 10 months. Hoping for longer appliance life on this one. I have tried other nugget ice makers. ice wasnt as soft as this one and they were much louder.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This Will Make That Nugget Ice You Like

This makes the 'Sonic' type ice my wife loves and plenty of it. Plugged it into a watt meter and after 210 hours of use it consumes approximately 0.71 KwH per day. In my area of the world that comes out to $3.50 per month to run it 24/7. I'm going to set a schedule so it doesn't run at night and see how that goes. Very interesting design that as the ice melts it melts back into the reservoir to be turned back into ice.Sound wise you can tell when it's running but if you're not listening for it you probably won't notice it.

Happy with purchase although first product faulty

First ice maker was a dud - leaked everywhere. Took a chance and ordered another machine and I am very pleased with the purchase. It is not as noisy as some have claimed and the ice is made quickly. I love the WiFi component so I can schedule ice and not waste energy. Have it five stars although I wasted two hours with the faulty unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have been waiting for a home version. We had a cheaper bullet maker from an off brand. This matching churns out ice faster than the kids empty it.

We love our Opal. We’ve had it for the last 3 years. My husband couldn’t live without it. He uses it the absolute most. My sister In-law bought one for her daughter’s birthday. Size is perfect and makes ice quickly. I definitely recommend getting the water filter. I have no problem giving it 5 stars!
