I havent had this ice maker but 3 month and it doesnt make ice and the water run out the bottom

not worth the money

worked great for about 20 months. for the Money spent i thought i would get more than that!!!stopped making ice and leaks bad !!! will not recommend spending so much for something that fails shortly after warranty expires

We previously had a Kitchenaid Ice Maker that was incredibly inferior. The GE profile Opal Ice Maker is far superior, external tank easy to use, and the water filter is exceptional. The ice is perfect and supplements the fridge ice maker. I would recommend to anyone

We love love love our opal! If we could give it a 4.5 I would have just for being noisy- but other than that it does everything it should. I love the large tank for water so refills don’t have to happen so often.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great texture of ice!!

Love the ice maker. I opt to make ice a couple times a week and store it in an ice bucket in the freezer instead of keeping the ice maker on all the time. It doesn’t keep it cold necessarily so what happens is it makes ice and fills up the bucket of the ice maker and then it does keep it cold for a little while but then, as the ice melts, the water goes back into the Reservoir and is used to refresh the ice made by the machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!
