I HAVE HAD A DIFFERENT MODEL FOR YEARS .... I HAVE A SMALL BUSINESS OUT OF OUR HOUSE AND EVERYONE LOVES LOVES LOVES THIS ICE .... THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR MY FAMILY AND THE SMALL KIDS LOVE TO JUST EAT IT

A must have if you love ice

Our kids love pellet ice. We love pellet ice. We bought our machine almost 5 years ago, and sadly, it has passed on. But we missed it so much! And so we went to the store, and now we have the new one. And wow, is it quiet! We have a large family and this machine keeps us happy with a constant stream of ice.
Hoping this one works for ten years. I strongly recommend using filtered or distilled water.

Had many many many and more different ice machines. By far this one has been the best set up and very easy to use. Easy to maintain, Doesn’t require a lot of attention.Perfect size ice that doesn’t melt as soon as you add your drink.

I am astonished at the volume and quality of the ice that this puppy makes! It’s not for a person who just wants to plug and play— my guess is that the nugget ice machine isn’t there yet, at least not the home version at a reasonable price. This guy needs frequently filled manually, and regularly sanitized and descaled. But great ice requires a great commitment and this bad boy is worth it!

Never have I purchased an appliance or tool whose set up and initial operation went so flawlessly.
Having researched this unit and watched several independent YouTube videos, I was confident in my purchase but was pleasantly surprised at the well instructed set up and prompt creation of ice nuggets within 15 minutes of commencement.
Needless to say, this unit appears to be worth the premium price paid.
You get what you pay for and I look forward to a long use of this ice maker!

The best ice maker!

My wife and kids love chewable ice. When our fridge ice maker broke I decided to upgrade. While it’s expensive so far it’s well worth the price. It’s not as loud as some people have said and cleaning it is a breeze. Just hope it lasts a long time!

We have one, and I’ve bought one for several friends and family members. The Opal is a great little machine. Use distilled water and it’ll never give you any issues.
