Love our new GE Opal 2.0 Ice Maker! It's a workhorse but is so quiet you won't notice it's running. I love the adjustable lighting option and that the controls have minimal lighting too. It's a sleek design that looks nice on our counter. It's fantastic that it doesn't need its own water supply, giving us more options for placement in our home - such a plus! And the ice - so, so good! We love having this soft ice available all the time. My only warning is be careful when cleaning it not to submerge the bin as water will get into the double-walled front. I think the instructions could have been more clear on this point, but we were able to remedy the issue by removing the handle to drain as much water as possible, let it dry and then replace the handle. Overall, don't hesitate to purchase this ice maker!

This is the BEST ice maker. I love the soft chewy ice and it never runs out. I also love how it reminds me when I need to add more water. I tell everyone about how great this product is and that they should purchase one as well

My husband purchased this for me as a xmas present. I LOVE it. The ice maker I had previous was a bullet and it was extremely difficult to clean. This bullet maker is awesome and so easy to set up and clean. It was well worth the money.

We are really, really happy with the Opal! It has exceeded our expectations and gives just enough ice to service four people WELL. I was initially intimidated with the "cleaning" process. But, the instructions are very clear and cleaning is not a hassle. I clean it about every two weeks...but I do use filtered water.

Kept getting add water message, so removed the filter and only using screen now. No other issues. Great ice maker
