We love the ice our ice maker makes! Our only complaint it that it is a bit loud due to a rattle in the top.

Quiet machine, no loud noise, easy to operate!

I have been using this GE Opal 2.0 portable ice maker regularly and I’m impressed with the machine so far. It performs very well and doesn’t make loud noise while making ice. It also fits well under the cabinet. I like the design, it’s simple and elegant. The blue light makes it looks cool and beautiful to watch. The quality of the ice is great, it’s crispy and chewable. It doesn’t take long time to make ice. I can leave the ice in the machine. The side tank is helpful and easy to fill water. I think the price is a bit expensive. this machine can be operated through wifi via SmartHQ app. But the app occasionally shows OFF status even though my machine is still on and making ice. Might need some update on the application in the future. Overall I do like this ice maker machine.

Best appliance ever. Perfect amount of ice and love the ease of using my phone to connect. Never have to worry about ice being too hard from being in the freezer

Product looks nice, but the ice it makes is not very cold. This may sound funny, but the ice is soft and not hard. It melts really easy in your drinks. I plan on bagging some up, and freezing it, so it can get harder. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a icemaker. It’s still fairly new, and I love ice, so I will give it a few more months to see if I can get used to the ice.
